Thank you for this live video even though I didn’t get to see it live. I look at each section of my vision board card each time I touch my deck. I put it just behind my calendar card. The vision card helps me to reset my brain before I start working from the deck. I usually look at it again at the end of the day to see how much of my vision I worked on. I agree the deck needs to be pretty. I am using lime green for cards that go with my 12 Week Year and Fuchsia for my KZfaq cards. I stay with the SHE colors for the daily, weekly and personal cards. I love being able to touch and rearrange the cards as I need to. There’s just something about the tactile part that works and soothes.

Thanks Jenn! It's always a pleasure to see your videos! I'm inspired to see if I can use a seperate card deck to plan out my garden tasks. There does tend to be quarterly focus areas that would work well in a "12 week" capacity. I love the card deck and shuffling or arranging them for other areas, so I think it could work! ❤

You always look great… you never need to feel bad or apologize!! We are just grateful to watch your videos. I’m going to watch this and your other KZfaq 12-week year. I feel bad I didn’t watch it, but now that you explained it a little more, I’ll watch it even though I’m not interest in creating KZfaq content. Who knows, maybe I will be able to start on April 1st. I am very anxious to give it a try. Thanks for this video!!!

Jenn I love how authentic you are! I constantly talk myself out of making videos for my YT channel because my hair isn’t perfect. Maybe I just need to go live and get over it .

Glad it's not just me! My hair is naturally really frizzy too, so thinking I should wait until tomorrow when I straighten my hair happens pretty often with me 👀

Just finished watching this video and I want to thank you for your encouragement to forge ahead with my first 12-week year. It won’t be pretty, but I’m going to plan to start on April 1st. No matter how I do, there will be progress made so that’s all that matters. Now I’m going to find and watch your KZfaq content video. (Probably half a dozen times)) Thank you!!

I was wondering if that island in one of your recent videos was EAGLE ISLAND. It sure looked like it!!! My parents had a WONDERFUL full view of it and it’s a favorite view.

I think that was the view from Sucia Island. Is Eagle Island in south sound? We’d love to get down there on the boat!

I’ve got to find it on the map to give you a better idea of where it is, but you can see it from Steilacoom, WA… Eagle Island State Park is a public recreation area in south Puget Sound occupying the entirety of Eagle Island in Pierce County, Washington. The five-acre (2.0 ha) island sits in Balch Passage between McNeil and Anderson islands about 750 feet (230 m) off Anderson Island's north shore. The island was named for Harry Eagle, one of the party members of the Wilkes Expedition of 1841.[2]

I would love you to show us a whole set up of your cards, each individual card and how you do it every day if you could make a video like that cause I would love to get rid of planners and all the excess stuff but I’m not sure a card system could hold everything I needed to

Hi Jenn, thank you for this video. You are right, prettiness of the cards, playa a role in motivation. I am working on how to make them prettier. I use stickers and Post-it notes, but I wish I had something more personal. I also use a small photo printer to print out some Collages. But I still have to learn how to doodle. How did you learn it?

Thanks for this video! I was wondering if it ever gets a bit convoluted having the monthly calendar card for the 12 Week Year and also all other aspects of your life on it as well? Will you continue to mix them or do you feel that it's better to start out with them separately? Also, do you carry all 12 weeks with you or do you only carry the current month with your 12 Week cards as well as our other personal and home cards? Thank you :)

Having the other aspects is super helpful in planning for me so far. Knowing when big holidays are coming up, vacations, appointments, etc. is important in making sure I plan accordingly. I'll continue to mix them - it's been helpful so far on the calendar and with the cards. I see on my Wednesdays for example, I have a little stack of desk tasks I need to take care of for our home. It's a visual cue that I probably need to go easy on adding additional task cards that day. When I thumb through the cards, I can see I have more physical tasks some days, and might change where I place certain 12 week year cards then. Right now I carry the 12 weeks ahead right now - on Wednesdays or Saturdays I tidy up my card deck that I carry with the one in my card box I store that holds the months out. My current 12 week year dividers and task cards I've completed are also in the bag I carry, plus my recipes and some blanks. My home and personal cards for those weeks are mixed in. I'll adjust as needed.
