People fail to see that Sigrun is just like BJ. Both suffered immense torture from a hateful, racist parent (Sigrun and her mother/BJ and her father). And their hateful parents were only concerned about their own lives rather than their children's. And yet both eventually rebelled and continued to live a life as those who accept all people.

You know, I feel like this Supersoldat is a really underappreciated character. He's got one of the worst jobs in the world working for Engel, he's been bainwashed and turned into a monster, but he doesn't let it get to him. For him it's just a job that he takes to make ends meet. 5:17 Just look at him, he perks up Caroline's neck so that it only needs a single swing and won't be as painful. 6:12 He doesn't pressure Sigrun into doing something she finds abominable, nor does he laugh at her like the regular soldiers. 7:30 He's obviously very regretful of the necessity to killing Caroline, just look at him staring at her body like does. 8:32 He's clearly unamused by Engel's use of her head, and sees an opportunity to not only help rid of himself of the memory, but also rid Engel of a potential trophy (because we all know that she would have used the head as a hood ornament or something). 8:46 He doesn't get in Sigrun's way as she stands up to her mother, and instead decides to focus on Fergus, slowing his breathing and blocking the wound with his own leg to help prevent excessive bleeding. He's even sporting enough to allow BJ a chance to suit up before he does anything. 9:09 When given direct orders, he keeps things to a minimum and simply disarms Sigrun rather than breaking her neck or something. 9:16 Even when he gets shot at, he'd apparently prefer to retreat without any more casualties, despite the fact that he probably could have just turned around and killed everyone in there. What a guy, he's probably just doing this to protect his family or something.
