The 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance AWD is one of the most impressive electric vehicles we've evaluated here at EV Pulse. It's comfortable, pleasant to drive and super luxurious, but... its sub-par driving range leaves something to be desired. Can speedy charging make up for fewer miles between stops? Today in my GV60 Performance with a temperature around 64 degrees at a 350 electrify America charger we went from 17% to 90% in around 25 minutes.

The ultra fast charging was the key reason I purchased mine. It was impressive. I literally had to RUN to grab a bite to eat before it was ready to keep going.

Fantastically comprehensive and succinct with great charts. Thank you and well done. By the way in the UK a third trim level is available the entry level Premier which is only RWD and has an WLTP rating for 321 miles. Yes you forego the AWD and its associated power and features and forego adaptive suspension. But this model hits a sweet spot on price, performance and range - if that blistering performance really isn’t needed.

Weird pogo effect but I’m still impressed that a literal full charge is still achieved in under an hour. If chargers are reliable and available where you need, seems just perfectly fine for shorter road trips if not everything. Heck once pickups get to that level might work okay even for towing.

Glad to come across your KZfaq channel Craig. I really like the GV80 & the Electrified G80 too. But IMHO these need a bit more range. I like to see about 300 real life miles; living in New England the Winters, and it's effect on range, require it. Oh, for what it's worth, I love olive loaf! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
