I feel like she can get more velocity on it. She came up with the ability to rip her shots from each side. Injuries haven't helped.

It is actually a perfect forehand except that it can get loopy on the backswing

The forehand is problematic because essentially it isn’t a smooth movement. She takes the racquet back too early, pauses and then finishes the movement. This breakdown in the chain makes it inconsistent and robs her of power. This makes her muscle the ball and throws her off balance.

TooleyPeter I agree but are you able pin point what specifically is wrong? No lag in her wrist? Hip turn? Too much arm?

She has the unit turn, but then, she does not transfer her weight forward. Rather, her weight goes up. To add power, she muscles the ball with her arm.

@Big Ballah She has a really horrible form on the forehand, and just by saying how many games you can get from her doesn't change the fact. She is hitting the ball late and not hitting it completely out in front. When she makes contact her arm is not extended, and when she finishes her follow through her arm is still bent and is not fully stretched. I am basically saying exactly what she is doing in the video, so I cannot be wrong. Don't take this on your ego and please be reasonable, thank you.

@maccajoe Ok, but Rafa and Federer have extended arm and their forehand is better then Genie Bouchard's forehand, correct? Unless you are saying that Genie has a better forehand then Rafa and Roger, I must be wrong. That is what I am trying to say... can you please further explain to me what is retarded about that, I am not asking you arrogantly but sincerely.
