Good old Gibsonian cyberspace ^^ I think my favourite one is the cyberspace segments in System Shock 1, despite the game's relatively primitive graphics. I especially like that you could see beyond the walls of the partition you're jacked into, and see other partitions off in the distance, which you would access later through other cyberjacks. It did a great job making the game world feel connected.

Twisted Insurrection is an alternate universe Tiberian Sun that starts 3 years after the Nod Campaign of Tiberian Dawn. Tiberian Sun is about 10 years after GDI Campaign.

@@Cyber_kumo I thought tib sun took place in 2030? Tiberian dawn takes place in the 'indeterminate 90's war' so there is quite a lot of time between the games!

@@Pathfinder118 The reason you find conflicting data is because EA retconned several things. What zrlap is referring to is EA lore while you're referring to Westwood lore. Needless to say, WW > EA. I mean, EA even retconned how fucking Tiberium itself worked.

It was an old concept then. Everyone copied William Gibson, he came up with it in the early '80s

Shadowrun predates both, and there's plenty of cyberpunk media that predates shadow run. Matrix and C&C did make jacking into the 'net to run and frag nodes to secure a data exfil smash'n'grab look cool, though.

The land around the Eiffel and Brandenburg Gate is mostly open spaces and parkland, Westminster is in the dead, overcrowded soulless heart of London, with the shockwave causing the Thames to flood over barriers, and the denser streets will make search and rescue efforts all the more difficult. The Whitehouse has loads of area around it cleared to keep any and all approaches of armed militias and disgruntled citizens from approaching unobserved.
