In my experience, the simplest design is harder to copy than a complicated one. Bc a complicated design usually have things that make them who they are like an accessories or some like that. But simple designs, you need the line to be almost exactly as it the original or else it'll look weird. I remember spending like 20 minutes or so trying to get Saitama's egg like head shape correctly.
