I made it it was pretty decent. The matcha jelly had a really strong flavor so it needed to be eaten with the creamy almond milk jelly to balance it out but it was tasty once you do if you like matcha of course which I do. However the syrup is the thing that really tied the dish together with slightly sour notes to counter the strong earthiness and sweetness of the almond/matcha and surger/honey. My one note is perhaps the the osmanthus needs to be ground before added to the dish because the texture was a little off in my opinion. However with the leftovers I will make wine. Over all I would recommend you try it at least once if you have the ingredients avaliable like I did. Doesn't take too long to make and the worst that could happen is your jelly doesn't set. I recommend you have a food thermometer on hand to avoid such situations.

@@jimena.9606 Yes you can leave it on the counter but it is quicker and it firms up better if you put them in the fridge for about an hour.

@@jimena.9606 On that note you may need as much as triple of the agar powder if your jelly doesn't want to set up. Personally I think 4 grams is not enough and my milk jelly was barely set and definitely did not have the consistency of tofu. 1 gram for the matcha jelly was fine and firmed up quite nicely after I got it in the fridge however. Try it yourself see how it turns out before following my advice however as I'm petty sure you don't wanna eat a brick if 4 grams would work out for you normally.

Second fun fact: Dud you know the reason Xiao likes it is bc the texture is very similar to the dreams he was forced to devore for decades by an evil god who had found his weakness when his name was Alatus before he was saved by Zhongli and named after a spirit ? :> And yes I did read to much abt his dramatic story thanks for noticing

Made it today! It is absolutely delicious!!! I used almond milk instead of milk. The gentle almond taste with the sweetness of the osmanthus flowers… Very delicious! Thank you for the recipe Mori-san!!!

did you add in any almond powder to the milk at all? i am lactose intolerant and would like to make this dish, but i wasn’t sure if i should just use almond milk, or if i should add almond powder to soy milk.

@@strwberryymin9796 I'm also lactose intolerant haha... I use almond milk to make it. I basically replace the volume of milk and water by almond milk. To increase the almond flavor I also add a few drops of concentrated almond flavor. It works well for me!

Actually I'm about to make it myself. Honestly it doesn't seem that hard this isn't even tofu in the traditional sense it's more like jello and you have to be a really bad cook to screw up jello. If anything this is more about attaining the right ingredients and where to locate them however I happened to have them all on hand.

I believe on the Genshin impact website They have a more traditional and official recipe at least for almond tofu and I might try that as well that way I can compare the 2.

The matcha jelly had a really strong flavor so it needed to be eaten with the creamy almond milk jelly to balance it out but it was tasty once you do if you like matcha of course which I do. However the syrup is the thing that really tied the dish together with with slightly sour notes to counter the strong earthiness and sweetness of the almond/matcha and surger/honey. My one note is perhaps the the osmanthus needs to be ground before added to the dish because the texture was a little off in my opinion. However with the leftovers I will make wine. Over all I would recommend you try at least once if you had the ingredients avaliable like I did. Doesn't take too long to make and the worst that could happen is your jelly doesn't set.

It's confirmed but still seems like a waste he's not even that great as a DPS anymore your better of getting Zong as supports are eternal or Ganyu as she's still totally broken good or the new girl if ya already got Ganyu to make her even more broken.
