Before diving into the cutscenes, You could look at the Collected Miscellany playlist as it gives a breakdown as each character works plus a little more lore in each one. Also a few characters included that didn't get their own demo. There's maybe a total of 2-4 hours in total and also gives a good demonstration of gameplay

Ohhhh, it'd be interesting and great if you watch the cutscenes of the game. Although, there might be some information not included if it's purely just the cinematic cutscenes. I would recommend the video put up by IGNITE which has every cutscenes from 1.0-3.1. It's over two hours long so I think you can do bite chunks for each act/version.

Don't know how u guys would be able to find a way to learn the story of genshin, as a lot of it is gameplay, but would love to see reaction videos on that. Genshin's lore is insanely intricate, kinda similar to league of legends, but a bit more linear. The main story of genshin are called "archon quests", so maybe if u can find at least some compilation of archon quest cutscenes+ dialogues, that can give you a good starting point.

One of the main villains died, and the other ones you see are on her funeral. All of them serve to the god of Ice called "The Tsaritza". When they talk about a "gnosis" they are referring to an object that gives divine power, these villains are stealing all the "Gnosis" from all of the gods in that world, so that they can overthrow the "Heavenly Principles" who is the biggest, strongest god of all.

I'm from Russia. But I'm watching your reactions and reasoning about the videos you've watched. The first video that you watched is the whole main plot of our main character, and the Game as a whole. The hero travels through regions ruled by seven Gods! And what the voice tells is how these gods behave and what their vision of the World is before the main character comes to them.

I know this is late, but to be clear, in the last video the fatui (the ice people) are not mourning their queen or god, rather they’re mourning a fellow harbinger (very high ranking members of the fatui). All of the people seen in that video excluding the girl in green at the end are harbingers with only 2 missing, one being who they’re mourning and the other being the scaramouch person they mentioned. The fatui queen, or really their god, is very much alive and a huge player in the story who we have not had any introduction to yet.

For context, Winter Night’s Lazzo takes place between the Inazuma Archon quest and Sumeru’s. So this is a slight spoiler as 1 of the 11 Fatui harbingers was slain in the climax of the Inazuma archon quest, and another going awol essentially, both whom players met relatively early. 7:49 Cue Bleach Espada reference. 9:05 Cue derogatory Elden Ring reference.

genshin impact has cutscenes in their games! they are usually in big story quests called archon quests and there is a video that shows you all of the archon quest cutscenes so you can react to them and understand the game and have a look at their nation better!

Yeah these things are more teasers for what will come. It's almost as much a spoiler to us as you unless you consume everything there is like all the side quests and comics but most people don't. It's still sort of there to make you ask questions. Anyways the first vid came out closer to launch and is a teaser for the whole story yet to come. Each act is supposed to be a year's worth of content though it bears mentioning after much success they have said they'll do more Acts. Last I heard I think they said they've got plans for five more after the ones we've seen. Also the characters shown aren't the gods mentioned they're people from those regions we'll interact with a lot while there. Actually showing the gods might be a spoiler in some cases. As for the second video that's more of the same but teasing the villain squad. I think it's alright though because they're all wearing coats so we don't get the full design. However it was a big deal when they just dropped it all right then. I think they were in good part excited because they wanted to lock in the designs and I heard they got some pretty big voice actors. Personally I'm just excited for Act V because it's based on Meso America which is why it had Spanish music. So basically Mexico not long after the Spanish arrived. The god there is also the god of fire and war and I've heard the people in that region know a form of boxing which I prefer over metal weapons. We've got two years until then though.

That lore dump video is probably more for old Genshin Impact players. I got a feeling that non-Genshin-players might feel too overwhelmed and confused after watching all those things without the context of what happened in the game. Visually appealing still.

You know what's good for game reactions? Door Monster. They do sketches mostly based on games and they're brilliant.

Well, there are version trailers that give a glimpse (though slightly out of context) of each new update and event. But if you want to discover the actual story its probably best to watch one of the big compilation video playthroughs or summary videos. There are a lot of character and a lot of events were sadly limited time only, but give important character development etc.

So far we've done with 4 regions, 1 prologue and 3 acts. There's 4 more acts until the game ends 3 years from now.

There's a TON of story in Genshin, but if you can find videos that focus on the main archon story questlines, that would be for the best. But many of the cutscenes in the game and even limited time events have been amazing to watch.

Just to clarify! The one who died wasn't the queen but one of her loyal second in commands. The queen, aka the Tsaritsa is the God who "has no love left for her people". She wants to dethrone the main God with her people

what is amusing is the game has not only planned 7 years of storyline in advance, they even have music and character design for all the region already...

So like you've probably already seen, there is A LOT of Genshin story. So i recommend 100% focusing on videos around the ARCHON quests - these are the main story quests of Genshin Impact. The second trailer is patterned after an interlude in commedia dell'arte (all of the Fatui are using personas based on the stock characters created in that style of theatre) when the players basically halt continuing the play to instead comment on the state of the play and its plotline. (Thus the comment on "foolish theatrics" for the benefit of a "captive audience'.) In this instance the term "lazzo" seems to mean all of them are behaving in ways that would be very stereotypical if we'd in fact seen enough of them to know that: they're all performing canned responses.

Oooh you should definitely react to the in game cutscenes and the new 3.4 Trailer along with the special animation for Xiao recently released called "Endless suffering" that has to do with the 3.4 event. Just quickly, the characters shown in the Travail trailer are not the gods that are being talked about, but they play an important part in the chapters shown before them. We as players are currently are able to play from the prologue to the (currently assumed) end of chapter 3 and we'll be getting chapter 4 at the end of this summer. We basically get a new region/country to explore and discover story and characters from annually at the end of summer each year, and that's when a new chapter starts too. The chapters are split up into acts to spread content out over the year with limited-time event storylines sprinkled in and sometimes interlude chapters which reveal more pieces of story. Each nation/country has 1 main god that can rule over it if they choose to, these gods are know as archons and each has a special connection to 1 of the 7 known elements. In A Winter Night's Lazzo, it gave us information about 2 characters we see briefly in chapter 2 and characters that had only been hinted at and spoken about in dialogue before that animation came out. All of the characters shown in A Winter Night's Lazzo are known as Fatui Harbingers and are the highest ranking members of the Tsaritsa's (ruler of a nation/country called Snezhnaya and won't be seen until chapter 6) army. The Tsaritsa also wasn't the one being laid to rest in the coffin. And a key sentence I want to remind you of is one of them saying "We will seize authority from the gods"; it'll be good to keep that in mind. for these characters.

We're getting to chapter 5 soon tm. Which should be set in a steampunk type place called Fontaine. It's going to take a couple years, but I really want to know how the story ends. Hoping we at least get to fight all the Fatui Harbingers and Celestia the goddess from the intro before that happens. Also it wasn't their queen that diied, but a fellow harbinger. The butterfly is part of her thing in the boss fight. she used fire and ice, which is why the turned ther tomb/resting place into a frozen castle and all that remained of her was that fire butterfly. fun fact as well at some point on of them says "we don;'t want to make the children cry." which is a shot at the character behind her they zoom into called "Childe"
