I think it would be cool to explore the area between Port Ormos and Liyue Harbor. Honestly, Sumeru's whole western coast is such an interesting spot.

You know how yanfei intentionally exploit the loophole she find in liyue law, then ningguang had to change it later. You are the Yanfei of genshin glitch

Idk if it's possible, but explore the places between Stormterror's Layer, Liyue and across that to Fontaine.

Because of this guy we are getting rewarded with 100 Primogems every time he finds a glitch or bug

I found something pretty weird : you can dive underwater in the pond under the yellow tree (it's the only place as far as I know where you can do that out of bounds), and there's a pretty big space there. Also there are weird invisible spots around the pond where your character starts swimming in the air for a bit.

So glad you managed to find out how this is performed and got us cool new OOB footage! Hope Hoyo takes their sweet time to patch this, but man, it's always so fascinating to see what kind of crazy steps are required to make a glitch work. There's a huge crater to the north of Qingce Village (near Stormterror's Lair). I initially thought that was supposed to be Fontaine but I was so far off xD

It works on mobile, no need for key switching. Couldn't find the willow tree but I enjoyed walking around all these weird areas

I don't know why they are not in the game considering Sumeru is already finished, but I think full exploring the northern and southern coasts of sumeru would be cool

Another interesting behavior with this glitch is that if you try to change your party in any way the prompt "character not on the map" will appear and team will not change. Which quite interesting. I wonder for what it originally was planned to be used. Also if you out of bounds the party setup background will be the galaxy one. Which is expected but neat. Edit: I did some more poking around and here's what I found. You can interact with materials and the thing collectible by touch (like Fontaine's water droplets that give you nilou like ring, underwater you can I interact with rings) but can't with chest, money rocks and prompt things. You can't get an achievement in this state, but if you triggered the condition for it they give you it when you live it. For me it was collecting sweet madam after Henri's quest (the guy who got buried in sand). I got it after reconnection. Near that tower there's bugged water. You can do (kinda) normal attacks and e. Nothing will happen. The camera will reset, character swimming animation starts playing from the first frame and if character gad some special effects it will play. You can spam your characters E in there 'cuz there's no cooldown. If you go to the second out of bounds Fontaine's elevator- dock (like at the one we first arrive in Fontaine) you will see visible seem between undiveble and diveble but buggy water. It's not only place where's diveble water changes on undiveble but the only place where's there's a visible seam. Also seam not equal. The closer it to the edge of Fontaine the thinner it is. The dock itself is pretty junky it's uv map are fucked. Especially in "mid close" state. I think it's that Liyue patch that most people of teyvat take. It was established that the desert one that traveler took isn't popular and most people go through Liyue's one. (A little bit of Liyue expansion as was with desert?) The yellow weeping tree has no collision as far as I know. I tried to climb on it with wanderer and get to clip myself through it's roots a couple of times but nothing happened. It's a shame it would be nice to see it up close. The water pool near that weeping tree super broken. It's surface and swimming area are not aligned correctly. Swimming area is a little bit higher than the surface one which means you can trigger swimming without diving. There's a random water pool that consumes normal stamina. It's pretty small and shallow. You can't enter into building (like palais mermonia) the message "entering the scene" will show up but nothing happens. At some point that water orb that attacks for you when you swimm didn't disappear when I leaved the water and started traveling with me on the surface. It's Everything interesting I could find for now.

Hi Moosashi, please explore these areas: 1. Desert shoreline across Fontaine, there should be Bayda Harbor 2. Northwest Liyue bordering Fontaine, there should be Qiaoying Village 3. West of Stormterror's Lair 4. North of Qingce Village 5. Liyue still has Yilong Port, but who knows where it might be? Traveler-san breaking and entering The Orchard of Pairidaeza also sounds fun, it is hovering far below Mt. Damavand

I'd love to see the area between Liyue, Sumeru and Fontaine, and more of the lake next to the Fontaine plateau.

This has been the wildest glitch I've ever tried in this game. Truly spectacular and sad that this is going to be patched eventually :(

First one, how Paimon didn't realize this?

While exploring with this glitch myself I found some cool and weird white and black patch of ground. The patch is under the lake near Fontaine (not the plateau), and is almost completely straight north of Vanarana. Basically the north coast of Sumeru. Even though the patch is fairly small, I think it could be cool to include in a video. It might possibly be a placeholder for something or is just some weird map development. I managed to get to it going from Liyue and going under the water

The lonely harbor you've reached is probably Lumidouce harbor, the one that connect Fontaine to Chenyu Vale (Liyue)

I went some locations and if you wonder, here is list: Celestia: It's not possible from Mondstatd bc fake mountains (no collision but texture only) gets in way. You can go from Fontaine. I went directly under it. Sadly there is only fake mountains under it. Nothing particular. But I still marked it in my map to see if it's stay still in future. There is some rumors says that Celestia moves along with versions. Sumeru South dessert: nothing but after long time, endless sea. Sumeru East dessert: nothing but sands until tp barrier. Mondtatd North: Lakes along with rivers, weird solo mountains with collider. Last fun fact: after Paimon border, there is some plants exists. Mostly sugar flower and mint, sometimes crabs too. You can collect them.

I found a few interesting things, mainly a pretty reddish area in fontaine underneath celestia, a giant mountain also in fontaine that is very much the highest point on the map (it took maybe 20 minutes for me to climb up), a small region in sumeru with a large dendro slime and 3 hilichurls around a small hut, and finally a stray house sitting beyond the southern boundary of liyue. Anyways, I used this exploit to get hydro traveler before completing the tutorial

Fun thing I encountered with that was a kinda messed up cutscene. I did that on a new account that wasn't far. I activated the glitch right after activating the first statue and getting anemo powers and defeating those slimes and then went on to explore. I ran into the cutscene with divalin and venti and ignore paimon right after to go explore but I died out of bounds due to not having a windglider. I had to restart the game but since I was somewhere near liyue the map was not rendered in where the cutscene before was and it showed the cutscene with divalin again but with a very bad rendered area and no trees. It did look kinda funny to see aether gripping onto nothing and hiding behind a 2d tree that was not placed correctly

That one house on Liyue that we haven't been able to go since 1.0, and maybe the beach at the south of the Desert, that would be nice to see.

It's kinda weird seeing the terrain before it was released

would be really cool if we as a community could map out all the in-between places with video fotage so we have an unoffical "complete" map of the game

u can do this on mobile! i got it on my first try and walked from the stone forest in liyue to romaritime harbor. it was really nice to walk through. something else to note is that npc interactions and dialogues don’t work, but options to use things like elevators do. i could get up to the aquabus and could even summon it, but i couldn’t ride bc u can’t talk to the melusine. the waverider also appears, but it didn’t move for me at all. i think that’s all i found. very cool!

I tried it on mobile! It also works, do the same steps as you mentioned. You will see that your camera is weird, instead of going to map and teleporting (which I learnt you cannot do), enter the paimon menu and done!

I know its probably barren and misery to go through, but I've always been curious about the sea from inazuma to normal land. Like from the desert or port ormos, you'd have a massive stretch of impossible water, and i wonder if it truly is all water or if at some point the ocean fails

with all the mentions of springvale, i remembered a few months ago i had a strange bug where part of the terrain around springvale just completely got deleted. i had to repair game files for it to come back, but beforehand i went into co op and completely confused one of my friends. before the repair i set a waypoint underneath the map on the corner of loaded terrain that would normally be underground, and afterwards it was just a free ticket to underneath the map. not sure what caused it or what determined the terrain deletion or even the range of it, but i discovered it when i teleported to the talent domain and found myself falling into the void lmao. i think i have footage of it still. just thought this would be a pertinent place to mention it and to ask if any moosashi enjoyers have ever experienced anything like this before

you can use an npc and open wish instead of the chat so you can do it on mobile

I immediately logged into Mobile to see if I could do it, and it did. In just 10 min explore, I realized that the "raised" Fontaine land is almost the same height as the highest Teleport Waypoint on Liyue Hill (I forgot the name of the location; Teleport on the Flying Stone). I just remembered that there was a story that the Liyue Mainland was once flooded and now it just makes sense. But if Liyue floods, won't the Sumeru Forest section also be affected? because that part of Sumeru is the lowest land that I saw based on the map.

You could explore the desert aera to where Natlan probably is ! I don’t think there is any placeholder but the desert seems to extend very far away But yeah I don’t think there is so if not, you could explore the aera north of Mondstadt

It is possible on mobile, follow the same steps mostly. Press the chat open button and the statue of the seven prompt at the same time to start.

Interesting, teapot waypoints do work and break you out of the glitch

For a moment there I was worried the original method to this glitch was found out but apparently not. I hope there won't be any more leaks and the devs won't catch on how to execute the glitch another way (and the way they fix it won't have a greater effect at the same time fixing a lot more than intended.) No, I can't and won't tell people how to do it, although I've given some tips in past. Noblies' KZfaq series should continue as usual, if only this method is fixed. Edit: I looked a little more into this and even some of the other interface stalls were leaked. :/ Damn, we'll see what remains after the inevitable fixes... Regardless it may be the devs will have to rework and refactor a lot of things if they want to make their fixes somewhat future proof.

Mobile user here. Just checked it out n I can confirm it 100% works on mobiles. All u gotta do is skip the key-binding part and do the rest as stated in the video n Ur good

I walked from aranara city thingy underwater between fontain and liyue and could stand under celestia. Its interisting to see celestia from the bottom. There is also an area that could be a playable area in the future :D

You can use this glitch to open inazuma at low AR, it makes you immune to Raiden's Thunder.

Just tried this glitch on mobile and it works, however you have to press the chat icon like a millisecond before the statue of the seven!! Hope this helps ✌🏻

I remember this bug!! My friend once told me like a month ago or so, but he told me that its already patched, so i didnt bother to do the glitch. But it actually still work..

Please go to place near liyue mountains, it has bridges as i remember, were always curious what was there

important edit: can't seem to do it, statue interactions override chat interactions, and even if you're fast enough to go to someone's profile/characters, it fails anyway as you get back to the character profile after teleporting back to the statue (and when you try teleporting to waypoint, you do teleport) obsolete comment: if anyone's wondering, it seems to be possible on ps4/5 (just tried doing the combo on an npc prior, which was possible, gotta press square & touchpad at the same time)

Just experimented, here are my findings: 1: you can activate it alone or as a group in coop 2: it can be performed on mobile 3: people are affected automatically if they join you in coop 4: if one person activates the glitch and the other doesn't, the unglitched person still sees projectiles moving and enemies not seeing the other but sees projectiles pass through the glitched player and enemies not moving Might test some with the paimon barrier if it still exists later (the edit is bc autocorrect wanted me to say pain barrier)

I wonder if the glitch disables the knockback from the sandstorm in the hadramaveth desert mountain

so fun fact: you can walk from liyue (the little land outside of the border from across the lawachurl platform in bishui plain/under qingce village) to the harbor at 8:17 just walk. youll get to the harbor from under the water and it doesnt pull you up until you basically completely reach it

The golden tree thing definitely gonna have something to do with the story

What I would like to see the most would probably be any connection from Fontaine and Liyue/Mondstadt Can't belive they just left a huge gap like that in the map and it's actively hurting my soul.

It would be interesting to explore the area under celestia.

found out that you actually don't need to relog to reset the bug. Just open events, character trial, exit and you will appear in the Springvale and everything will be back normal btw, it is indeed possible to do on mobile, but looks like on console it is not possible to do, since, as I tried, you won't be able to click on the friend icon in chat - it will only allow you to click statue's dialog buttons (after clicking them you can eventually click the friend icon, but the bug won't happen for some reason)

I heard they added some out of bonds area (Which was some blub of textures before 4.0) around the north-east of Stormterror's Lair, it seems it is the harbor that connects Mondstadt to Fontain

Thanks for the guide! Fontaine is really big, and being able to go out of bounds makes me appreciate it even more now. Also helps to have Wanderer. Having a second stamina bar really helps makes it easier to explore.

It is actually easier to do this glitch on mobile. Just hit the chat and statue at the same time.

Tried this yesterday and it still works somewhat. It took about 5 minutes to fully take affect. I was also able to have a friend join my world and we both we able to explore outside of bounds. Have fun

This glitch does work on mobile. Following works on mobile: No teleport. If doing the glitch in Co-op, you can switch characters. Other people cannot follow you past the barrier if done in co-op If you spectate another person in a TCG match, you will be reset back to regular without restarting.

For those still trying to get to inazuma before doing the archon quest, this bug allows you to go to inazuma very easily as you don't get teleported back by the fog flag. Simply do it near liyue, go underwater using the raft and run. This even allows exploring tsurumi island without any quests, as the fog flag there seems to work the same way.

Some places you should explore are the empty space on the map between Liyue and Fontaine and the west of the desert! Between Liyue and Fontaine will be Chenyu vale, Qiaoying village and Yilong Wharf (might've spelled that wrong) and Natlan is to the west of the desert.

Okay I was able to use the same technique, on a crafting bench and using the monstad teleporter. same effect yet the camera does NOT get reset. I believe this is because the last location of the camera is where it thinks you are, or perhaps the paimon barrier actually involves the camera itself. The only reason it resets when using it on a statue of the seven is because of the camera panning during the activation of the statue. Was able to unload lots of monstad by moving away from it using this, while the camera remains where the crafting bench is.

i was testing this bug and found out that it can basically let you walk past the inazumas storm barrier!!! yippee

You can do it on mobile!! It was tricky to get the first bit where you click the chat button and the statue at the same time but when I got it it worked first try! It’s the same exact steps just with your fingers

the buidling you find that looks like the place we first enter fontaine is most likely the one line that it said to run from liyue to fontaine

How about a lil east of fontaine, did they add new liyue region roughly? Or a lil north of monsdat, the new port??

It does work on a phone. The problem part is opening chat and the statue at the same time, but.. If you hold chat and release it at the same time as you click the statue it works very reliably.

i wonder if one of these days this will no longer be live service but a game that can be played locally

Did the glitch myself on mobile, it's extremely easy, just press the chat button and statue prompt at the same time and do the rest. I got it on my first try and I went off to explore the Water Cubes! Damn shame that it'll be taken away from us.

I figured out how to switch characters Just don't teleport to the other waypoint You don't get invincibility though And you can't go passed the paimon barrier All you get is invisibility from enemies
