The reason this battle is easier than La Signora: If you fail to block his ult (at 16:30) and die, the Akasha flying pig will help you to shot him down. Most of your damage are from it, you just need to run around and collect energy block.

one thing I appreciate about the ending, the traveler knows what scara has done and doesn't want to bother saving him, just flinch at the hard fall. better than a lot of anime tropes and stuff.

I soloed the main story boss fight with the traveller... it was so much pain but totally worth it.

Fun fact, the JP VA of Scaramouche is Tetsuya Kakihara , who voiced Simon in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (AKA the biggest mecha of all times, with the size measured in 10 million LIGHT YEARS - and in the movies there was even a LARGER form...) and recently, Boruto in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. You can check his performance in Genshin Impact by changing the Voice Settings and play the Archive scenes with him (it's only voiced but there are the transcriptions of the scenes itself - sadly it doesn't include the cutscenes though, only a brief description of them).

Just so you know for farming purposes, during the first phase, all of the plates on the ground do different effects when you activate them. The most important are the two electro plates. Activating both will stun him. Then in the second phase, you figured out the energy mechanic, but you couldn’t shoot it because you started aiming with Yoimiya, lol.

All battles are hard people just used to zhongli so they can't tell the difference. I hope they release a boss that ignores the shield completely so they can feel the danger.

It's true that the fight was not tuff as expected.. Mostly because of the help from Nahida and Akasha. She really became more useful than other archons yet.. my perspective. 😎 (Much better than a drunkard, a sussy old man or a scary consciousness inside a puppet..)😅 I still wanted her to use her godly powers and just wipe the sages out of existence.. We know she can do that pretty easily.. 😉

So many people misinterpret this fight. Traveler never really lost a single fight against Scaramouche. Midway through the fight Nahida locks Scaramouche inside a dream and runs a simulation to collect data. Then she gives all that data to Traveller. Traveler really only uses the wisdom he aquired to deal with Scaramouche, he never really gains a buff. Even Nahida doesn't canonically help. You only get to play with her here because the devs took into account that not everyone will have a high level Dendro character to deal with his mechanics.
