FYI the harbingers theme is sharing a similar piece of musical leitmotif to each other and the choirs singing in their themes showing different emotions for each one of them: Tartaglia is warning, La signora is sorrowful, and Scaramouche is anger - Tartaglia's 2nd phase choirs tell us to not fight him because the traveller is still too weak at the time and he is a strong opponent to fight also his 2nd phase is named the rage of 'monoceros caeli' which translated to narwhal of the sky and he is somewhat has a connection to the new narwhal boss in version 4.2 is a crazy foreshadowing considering that tartaglia is a boss from version 1.1 - La signora's theme having a bit of winter night's lazos melody in the first phase, in her 2nd phase the choirs latin translation tell us her past regrets with sorrowful voice and why she become a fatui harbinger is because she lost someone important to her - Scaramouche theme has similarity to raiden's 1st phase, if you listen closely it has the same mechanic heartbeat sound which i think that was a cool detail to the lore, in the 2nd phase the choirs is channeling scaramouche's rage and anger towards the electro god and his human friends and how he feels betrayed by them which cause his obsession to become a god Also scaramouche is having a weird coincidences with the number 3 He's appears 3 time in the game before we actually fight him in version 3.2 In his story teaser he said it took him 3 betrayals for him to understand the world He is becoming playable character "The Wanderer" in version 3.3 And he is also the third harbingers to be introduced in the story

Next patch we are supposed to fight arlecchino (another fatui harbinger, she's also gonna be playable at the same time) and what im most excited about is her boss theme tbh there's so much potential with it knowing how great the fatui boss themes are (childe, Signora and shouki no kami, so far)

Out of all those themes, which are your top 3 I wonder? My favorite is Apep's boss theme at 57:30, but very specifically its second phase! I cant tell you much about Apep because it's very lore heavy, but the OST itself is so cool. The first phase sounds like there's so much going on, and that it's happening so fast. But the second phase where the trumpets came in at 59:31 sounds so triumphant! Out of all the boss themes where it sounds like we're up against something strong-- something impossible even, that we don't know if we'll win-- this is the only time where the song gives us hope, and is encouraging us that we are on the winning side. It's such a different vibe from all the others, and it just uplifts me. Also! As a fun fact that most won't look into, Dvalin, the dragon you saw with the bard Venti looks like a Glaucus atlanticus, a type of cool-looking sea slug. If you also can't understand what Apep looks like, it also looks like another type of sea slug called Melibe viridis. Kudos on pointing out the whale/narwhal sounds in the trap-like beat of the 2nd phase of the All-Devouring Narwhal. It's so cool how they encorporated that into the song and made it sound so ominous. Hey Man, thanks for the mention, and yeah I'm from Costa Rica so i speak Spanish, I'm glad you like the playlist, I tried to put the ones without any gameplay, now for fun facts, in the last one, the second phase of the narwhal they actually used whale sounds to make the song, that's why it sounded like that, also in the Scaramouche theme the one singing is actually the composer itself Yu Peng Chen, and finally in the guardian of the oasis, the song was shorter than the others because It is made to be repeated in the fight as you advance in the guardian phases, and it sounds more heroic because we are not trying to win but save "someone", so as we finish every phase of the fight the song incorporates more instruments until the orchestra completes, for me it is the best song in the game taking into account the composition.

Great video as usual, glad you loved the battle themes, btw you missed 1 theme, raiden shogun weekly boss, the raiden theme you heard was a 1 time experience in the game, the weekly is another version of her OST that you personally might like a little more, its called “The Almighty Violet Thunder”. 45:30 - The tracks don't only represent the origin or nature of the place but it also highlights the mood which in this case the battle. You'll understand why it did not went the traditional route because they need to highlight the hype of the battle during this phase. It's the same for Tartaglia's theme and La Signora's theme. That goes the same for all the boss battle themes also. Just think of the boss themes telling a story whether it's their past or the current one that you're fighting. I can't spoil it for you since you are playing, Just remember to think why it sounds like that when fighting a weekly boss. 56:00 - I don't get why you don't like Raiden Shogun's battle theme much but like Scaramouche's? 1/3 of Scaramouche's OST is from Raiden Shogun. This info. is also related to their story which I can't spoil for you. 1:00:40 - That's actually just a defense mechanism inside Apep(Dendro Dragon). It's basically like a white blood cell that fights bacteria/ virus and you are inside Apep. I can't say more since it will spoil the story.

I understand why you think Raiden's battle theme is slightly lower ranked than the others due to the modern music overlap (?) the traditional music. So I recommend an Inazuma battle theme "Duel in the Mist".

I agree with Raiden's theme having a lot of electronic elements to it, I think its probably symbolic because she is the god of electro, there are other renditions of the Inazuma theme which is more pure instrumental. Additionally there is an alternate version in game that's more metal and electric guitar.

57:30 Apep is his name, and he is the guardian of the oasis. btw he's a dragon but well that was not the best picture tbh. Also, in Egyptian Mythology, Apep (or apophis is a god that represents the night and basically all the bad things, he's represented as a giant snake who tirelessly chases Ra's raft on the Noun. I might confuse with another bad god like Fenrir or Hela or whoever idk but I think legends also tells that he tried to engulf the Nile in order to make the world end or something (definitely not sure of this part yeah lmao) oh and speaking of mythology, guess in which other game Apep is a cool boss huh? 👀🤣

Andrius's music has no right to go that hard. It really sounds like an epic battle of life and death, forlorn with no hope. But the circumstances aren't quite that dire in game. But its easily one of my favorites. The only flaw to me is that it ends so abruptly, but if you put the Dvalin theme right after it, they flow nicely into each other.

The Boss Themes are all so good, both in Star Rail and Genshin. Hoyoverse is really good making the best song for each boss. In Star Rail the latest Aventurine Boss theme is so perfect for his battle! My favourite Boss themes from Genshin are 2nd Phase-Raiden Boss, Scaramouche Boss and 3rd Phase-Childe Boss, Signora's Boss Theme has an honorable mention. And the Narwhal boss is just so ominous and massive and don't worry, the "dubstep" part suits perfectly for that part of the fight. Also yes, Tartaglia is Italian because that's his Harbinger Name, the 11 Harbinger from the Fatui (the main antagonist group) are based on a famous Italian Theatricall play call "La Comdia Dil Arte". His real name is Ajax!
