She was shocked to hear him awaken because it's been 500 years. Makes sense why Venti never met his twin, it did say that Venti was asleep for 1,000 or 500 years? I don't recall the exact years, but Venti probably woke up around the time Traveler woke up because Monstadt was in great danger and in need of help at that time.

In Latin, Lumine means light and Aether means ether. Fitting names for the two chosen by the stars. Lumine is the light and Aether is the sky. Without light, the sky is all but darkness. That is the reason why Aether seek Lumine. Without her, he is loss.

@YOON this video is Canon, in the manga/anime the main character is Aether and the antagonist is Lumine however if you play the game you are allowed to choose either sibling and the other becomes the antagonist instead. One of the reasons the NPC only refer to you as the traveller instead of him/her or your name

@Sling The male is named Aether in English, (空, Kōng) in both the Chinese and Japanese versions using respective pronunciations. "空" is pronounced "Sora" in Japanese The female is named Lumine in English, Yíng (荧) in Chinese, and Hotaru (蛍) in Japanese - using a different character than a unified one.

But yeah after act 4, this trailer makes much more sense and the feel hits real hard when you re-watched it. I doubt people who watched it for the first time after act 4 will get that strong feel.

I accidentally started a lvl 40 world quest on the far island and found one these guards there on the first day of playing genshin lol. I tried to fight it but I was too low lvl. Killed 3 of my free characters with rockets so I ran away by teleporting while Aether was still alive. Now they are just fodders xD
