I think Columbina will share much in common with Riful of the West, from Claymore (manga). Rifel looked like a child but was one of the most destructive forces in the land, being an awakened being. They also referred to her as one of the "Abyssal Ones." Columbina just exudes that vibe. The fight will probably be epic as hell

Now that we come back after Fontaine's storyline ended in 4.2, Pierro's final words to Signora "Your final resting place will be the entirety of the "Old World"..." can give another interpretation. Before, we probably thought that this referred to the current Teyvat: ruled by Celestia and it's Archons. But now, after the lore we got in "Masquerade of the Guilty" and not to mention the Act II of Nahida's Story Quest, the "Old World" here in question might refer to when Teyvat was ruled by the Dragon Sovereigns and the Dragon King, Nibelung. This could also mean that the rebellion of The Tsaritsa against the Divine could be to overthrow Celestia and Teyvat being ruled by the Ancient Dragons once more. Basically, Pierro here states that the one of the Fatui's goal is to bring back the leadership of Teyvat to the Elemental Dragon Sovereigns and that it will be Rosalyn's (Signora) final resting place. There's also the thing about the line "In the name of Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa, we will seize authority from the gods...". Although the word "authority" always comes with a capital "A" in quests, I believe most people understand this word differently now after Fontaine's Archon quest Act V, where Authority is related to the original power of the Ancient Dragons. Just so I can explain it clearly, Celestia stole a part of that "Authority" from the Dragon Sovereigns and they are now the basis of the corresponding Archon's element power. So, when Pierro says this, it probably means that they will seize that stolen Authority from the Gods, which they are clearly doing, by stealing their GNOSIS, which are revelaed to be related to the 3rd Descender, the one who came before the Traveler. The story of this game is getting greater and more detailed, and I think the final piece of the puzzle related to these topics above will be revealed in Natlan's storyline, "Incandescent Ode of Ressurection", which the Fatui will obtain their last Gnosis from the Pyro Archon or whoever has it and, judging by it's name, there are a lot of theories that The Dragon King Nibelung, currently dead, will be "ressurected" and help in the goal of overthrowing Celestia and rule the world along with the other Ancient Elemental Dragons, like Neuvillette (Hydro Dragon Sovereign). Natlan is the Nation we know the least of, and the final piece of the puzzle for a lot of our current theories, and we'll definitely get some new lore from Capitano (The Captain, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers). I can't wait for what it unfolds.

Giving them all similar Harbinger outfits was a stroke of genius imo. They get to reveal the characters and their faces, without completely revealing their designs or elements!

The fact that after all the Sumeru leaks, something as huge and exciting as the harbingers were completely unleaked is SUCH a breath of fresh air

It's interesting how they referred La Signora as Rosalyne, the name of her past. This probably indicates they really know her past and at least somewhat understood or respect her choices. Omg her lore just become even more interesting. Edit: this is the equivalent of that Naruto Shippuden episode where they revealed the Akatsuki meeting.

I actually can't stop rewatching this video. This is what Genshin Impact's story should focus on. The contrast between the dark tragedy of Khaenri'ah, the malicous harbingers of the Tsaritsa, and the hopes and dreams of the citizens of Teyvat. I think bringing more of these dark undertones to the story will really bring out a fantastic contrast. I just couldn't help making another comment just to highlight how good this teaser is so they make more.

Even if they are villains and it says on the official website that they haven't gotten together in a very long time, they all gathered to mourn their fallen comrade, which adds even more respect to them design without words at all I was very surprised!

The art in the video brings out the fact that Childe has no sparkle in his eyes even better and I really appreciate that. The way he looks so cold and serious compared to when we meet him as the traveller is also an extremely pleasant touch. Very happy lore enthusiast here. Edit: I see I've attracted a pretty big deal of lore enthusiasts here. It's nice to see so many people who enjoy looking at character traits in deeper depth and analysing them! I could ramble on about this type of thing for ages if it wasn't obvious haha 😅

Columbina is the best harbinger for me, because she is SO mysterious and exudes such a strong and unique aura! She's doesn't have much screen time but she has one of the most charismatic presences on a Genshin media yet, and her design is really interesting too, with the seraph feathers on her hair, the bandages, the laced blindfold... amazing!

This is kind of like Hoyo telling us “We’ve finished the story” and now all we have to do is play it through. They have to be really confident in how solid the story is for them to release this. Also a few months ago they increased the budget so they can make good on their 4 year plan they announced a year ago. So this might be the product of that increase. OH MY GOSH, THIS WAS SO REALISTICALLY WELL WRITTEN. IT'S GENUINELY ACKNOWLEDGED HOW SIGNORA GOT K*LLED AND HOW SHE BASICALLY WAS SACRIFICED. IT SHOWS HOW SHE ALSO HAD A PART IN THE ORGANISATION AND IT'S NOT ALL "Lol she ded" HONESTLY THIS MADE ME GASP SO MANY TIMES.

Seeing Columbina for the first time was unreal. Easily my favorite upcoming character besides Arlecchino- I can’t read her at all and I love that.
