i always wonder why people only mention dainsleif… as far as we know, kaeya is also from khaenri’ah, he also has this unique eye shape and covers the same side of his face/eye. and i think this is important giving these three has this in common. i think there must be much more to this „right side of face hiding”, and not only the curse dain mentioned to us.

The Fatui Harbingers appeared to be divided in their methods and views across the Fatui. For example: 1. Tartaglia openly expressed his dislike of La Signora in front of the Traveler 2. Viktor said he would rather work under Capitano if he was given a choice 3. Scaramouche is universally disliked by everyone, including his comrades 4. Sandrone has admonished Javert for some reason 5. Arlecchino's troops held her in such a high regard they launched an operation in Inazuma without her consent 6. Arlecchino is not a trustworthy person. On top of that, she is implied to be insane 7. Signora made Tartaglia go on a wild goose chase while she made a deal with Morax behind Tartaglia's back 8. Pulcinella seems to be a father-like figure to Tartaglia since he was the one who inducted Tartaglia into the Eleven Harbingers. He also cared for Tartaglia's family. Behind his back though, Pulcinella warned that the Fatui should not grow attached to Tartaglia.

Man I am SO hyped for 3.0. And holy crap, Snezhnayan Baizhu anyone? (I know Pantalone's not literally him lol; also he sounds voiced by J Michael Tatum and I am SO here for it). Columbina is SUPER CUTE what-- And Dottore looks SO much nicer than younger Dottore from the comic without that ugly mask. I find it hilarious people are honestly whining about this massive lore bomb being dropped because if any of these characters become playable chances are they'll be "ruined" like Albedo, Diluc, and others were (comparing in-game appearances to official art, such as Albedo's floofy hair being not so floof, Diluc looking like his face got stung by a bunch of bees and looking more derptastic). I don't care right now about that, I'm HYPED AF.

Am I the only one that is fearing for Collei's fate? Because that dream of Dottore in front of the burning tree, combined with the possibility of the archon residue still being within her, I fear for what is in store for Collei ;-;

3:37 one thing you didn't mention is the runes on it's arm. to me it highly resembles the designs on the arms of ruin guards. so perhaps it's adapted from one of the machines that the fatui were experimenting on, from childe's story quest. that's yet another connection a harbinger as to khaenriah.

3:29 Sandrone/Marionette is one of the few Harbingers that does not wear a mask. This may imply that Sandrone is NOT the girl but the machine itself, and she is just a *living corpse* (doll/puppet) of someone's tragic loss (father daughter relationship?) The way Sandrone was shown highly implies that it's a puppeteer, and the way she is held closely resembles that of a glove puppet. If this is true, then Sandrone's mask is actually the girl itself.

Knowing what Dottore was capable of in the manga he must be scarier when Sumeru update comes in the near future.

Just a few comments: - As a former competitive chess player, that setting is hopeless for Black, White wins in anywhere from 7-10+ moves - BUT that is if Rook takes pawn... and yet the Tsaritsa (as so many believe) decided to play Knight takes pawn - why? Was it premeditated? - Really strange for such a young looking Harbinger to raise such an old looking orphan as Nikolay, don't you think? - Pierro's eyes also remind me of 'serpent lady' (you know who) but if he is as you suggest - from Khaenri'ah - then his line 'your final resting place will be the entirety of the Old World' could be interpreted as an objective, or a goal - he intends to restore the old order (perhaps referring to the time prior to the current Celestia). And why did they show that pyro crystalfly flying all the way back to her coffin?! I want Signora to return but I wish Hoyoverse would stop playing with my heartstrings! - I agree with your theories on Dottore, it wouldn't be surprising for someone who is a master of machines and is able to transfer souls into them, to actually create copies of himself - he might even be a machine himself or part-machine for all we know. It seems that he might be "challenging divine authority", so to speak (due to the 'experiment in blasphemy'), and I suspect he's doing it to lure out the real archon (whom we all believe to be hiding). People aren’t thinking too well about how good this is for the community and for mihoyo. Such an INSANE sudden reveal has sparked SO much interest back in the game, and now people are crazy excited for sumeru and future fatui information, + will probably start thinking about who they want to save for in the event they become playable. Releasing so much new information will take a while to break down the lore instead of doing timed slow reveals, which people would pick apart in no time. That's right I think he's refering to the sages of khaen'riah. The description of the mask from the pale flame artifact set basically says that Pierro is unable to stop the ruler of Khaenri'ah or the sages from "tearing away the veil of sin." This results in Khaenri'ah's destruction at the hands of the Heavenly Principles. Here is the copypaste of the description if you are curious: "Since the stain of my compatriots' blood cannot be cleansed, I shall become The Jester, who laughs in the face of fate. Since my level of learning could not compare with the sages, I failed to earn the favor of the previous ruler. Oh i was worried why the video was gone! Turns out you reuploaded it and added a few more details!! The world of Teyvat dives deeper... It was also stated in the pale flame that a man (stated to be Pierro.) Was like an advisor or a sage, he warns the royal dynasty of the "veil of sin"(?) but he fails and because of that a nation ( Khaenriah) fell. Since he is an advisor of sorts... i think he is somewhat connected to Kaeya/Dain. He might know who Dainslef is, after all Dain was the "Twilight Sword", captain of the royal guards. And for Kaeya... well he's said to be "the last hope" and his last name Alberich means "ruler of supernatural beings". There's something really *fishy* going on here and it goes deeper than what we know..

i rlly hope damselette is some kind of assassin or mind controller. since childe isn't clear why she's deserving of no.3, she might be doing something secretive or something that's not very obvious by just looking at her. also the fact that her eyes are always closed / blocked could mean she relies on her other senses to "see" - she does not need her eyes. that would fit in the theme of mind control since she can access others' minds to see from there instead. not sure how / if it's even possible to represent that as a playable skill. really hyped to see what she can do and to play her!!

I love how when people stand before the coffin it gives that significant feeling of unity like one would've seen in famous mangas like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. This gave me huge hueco mundo feeling from Bleach for sure, if one knows that where hollow knights sit on the long table with the main villain.

I know they already killed the pawn, but notice how it landed at the end of the line. Not an expert here but don't pawns turn into queens (or any peice) when they hit the other side? (The animators could have made it land anywhere else, but it had a very clear camera shot as if trying to show us something.) Even tho the pawn was laying on its side, the butterfly was alive, seeming to signify a string of life. Also having Signora, a queen-like figure come back even stronger (a Queen piece) would be so cool. my predictions is that the final part of sumeru's quest could be Dottore as a final boss while the background is the great tree starting to burn and we are there to defeat Dottore to prevent the tree to be completely burn, The dendro archon can also fix the half burned tree

my take on gnosis owners based on slime philosophy theory: 1. Zhongli & Tsaritsa have Rook piece, as a cryo and geo slime have shield and projectile attacks of spike or rocks 2. pyro & hydro archons will have Bishop piece, as pyro and hydro slimes have fireball or bubble attack 3. Raiden & Nahida prolly have Knight pieces, as Dendro and Electro (yellow) slimes having similar behaviors in environment. yellow electro oftentimes do AFK if there are purple slimes nearby, chanelling lightning into them. while dendro big slime can spawn slime minions to help battle

“Corlombina cries over signora,Pulcinella asks everyone to pay respects and halt work for half a day, Pantalone says half a day isnt enough for signora, Arlecchino says she died in foreign land and you guys talk here in your own homes shut up be respectful, Tartaglia tries to calm them down this isnt the time or the place for fighting, Sandrone is dissapointed in them, Capitano says signoras death was a great pity, Dottore stays silent and talks abt scaramouche, and Pierro calls everyone to come close and pay respect one last time and remember that we all fight to the death for the Tsaritsa, and the cryo archon closes La Signoras resting place in ice forever.” (I love how they respect each other even if they dont like one another, they dont have to be friends but they serve the same god)

So, a little detail that seems to be very much overlooked, is that the Knight Piece is moved using Cryo Energy, this seems to indicate that Pierro is currently playing a Chess Game against the Tsaritsa. This can indicate two things, One, the Tsaritsa who is playing the White Pieces, might be the King Gnosis. Two, this Chess Game is only meant to symbolize what happened to Signora, nothing more, nothing less. I do want to point out one thing just in case someone fights me against the Second Point. The Chess Board has the Geo and Anemo Gnosis on it still, if they were to symbolize something then it would be saying that Zhongli and Venti are still involved, however that is just clearly not the case anymore.

1:14 - no; the pawn was not stuck in front of the black king, it was actually only 1 square from promotion. How do we know? Well we can see the out-of-play bishop from the background, so that means white is playing on that side, and black is playing on the other side. White has 4 passed pawns (a b g h) while black has a passed e pawn (maybe c pawn).

Here are a few things I noticed while looking at the chessboard scene, coming from someone who was formerly into chess, assuming normal rules of chess: 1: We know the white knight moves to square C2 to kill the pawn that we are assuming is La Signora. This move puts the black queen in check, while also suggesting that that knight piece is the Raiden Shogun. This move also allows the black king(which if I understood the video correctly, is the Traveler) to take the white knight piece. If the king does this, it puts itself in check from the white rook, which is the Geo Gnosis. Not sure what this means from a lore perspective, but I thought it was worth mentioning. 2: A while ago, IslandXD made a video(s) about archons, Gnosis's(not sure what the actual plural for "Gnosis" is, but I'm going to stick with "Gnosis's"), slimes and chess. I won't go into details, but to sum it up, using in-game lore about the large variants of slimes, as well as various design choices regarding them, he was able to conclude that the Cryo and Geo Gnosis's were rooks, the Electro and Dendro Gnosis's were bishops, the Pyro and Hydro Gnosis's were knights, the Anemo Gnosis was the queen, and an unknown element that was likely to be Time was the king, as well as that all of the Gnosis's, when used as chess pieces, would be on the same side, which is confirmed in the chess scene. However, there are two things I find interesting about this: 2A: If we assume that the knight that captured the pawn that was La Signora is in fact the Raiden Shogun, that contradicts the information given in IslandXD's video, seeing how the Raiden Shogun is a knight, not a bishop. However, in his video he more or less stated that all Gnosis's other than the Anemo and king Gnosis's came in pairs(Cryo/Geo, Electro/Dendro, Pyro/Hydro). This could mean that the pieces that represent the Electro/Dendro and Pyro/Hydro Gnosis's are swapped. 2B: If we look at images of the chessboard and assume that all the Gnosis-chess pieces are on the same side(which is the case with the Anemo, Geo and potentially Electro Gnosis's), that means that the Cryo, Dendro, Pyro and Hydro Gnosis's have already been captured and removed from play. If we assume that the Gnosis-chess pieces can be on either side, that means that just the Pyro and Hydro Gnosis's have been captured. 3: La Signora is clearly labeled as a pawn here, so does this mean that the other Harbingers are also pawns? Prior to the knight capturing the pawn, there was a total of 8 pawns on the board, half of which were black, which results in numbers not adding up no matter how you look at it. In IslandXD's video, he suggested that each pawn on the side of the chessboard that did *not* have any Gnosis's on it would be threats to each individual nation, meaning that Stormterror, Osial and La Signora were all pawn pieces. If that is the case, there are only enough pawns in play to account for 3 separate threats, meaning that either this tangent is entirely incorrect, or that one of these threats is a threat two nations.

I don’t think I’ve-seen anyone talk about this,but signora’s tomb bears a lot of resemblance to the Taj Mahal,a symmetrical building used to contain the deceased body of Mumtaz mahal. It is said that in order to prevent the same building to ever be replicated, the one who commissioned the building cut off the hands of the workers involved.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but the machine holding Sandrone in question appears to share design elements with ruin machines. Notice the circular bands on his arm with the runes found on Field Tillers, as well as the design of it's eye; highly similar to Ruin Hunters in design. Sandrone may have either a connection to Khaenri'ah, or an affinity for ruin machines

Imagine at the end of shneznaya archon quest, we have to fight against all the harbingers (who still alive) before fight against tsaritsa

Maybe the tree Dottore was facing was somewhere in Sumeru, and maybe that is why Collei had the vision of it.

When the pawn was finished by the horse it felled into the zone where the pawn can become a queen and if you think about the moth stopping on it can mean resurrection just like Signora's constellation does, especially since Pierro's words mentioned right there that the end does not hold true for that chess board. Also the king's piece is indeed Raiden's as is demonic name refers to a king from hell if I recall right.

The lines talking about scaramouche may have something to do with his description in the pale flame artifact set: "...Before the Fatui found him, he had drifted for countless years And in that time, this is what his experience had taught him: "I am a 'human' who surpasses all others." "Even the gods daren't meddle in my fate." "Neither mortal nor god, nor fate itself, is qualified to be my judge." "I am free to choose how I wish to spend the remainder of my days." So since gods don't pay attention to him, maybe he's hoping to "conquer the divine gaze" by possessing the electro gnosis. But if that is the case, I dont understand why he would do that, isn't being free from the gods gaze an advantage? He's not constrained by the shackles of fate like eveyone else, isn't that a good thing?

Hi Cat, first time viewer. Your video was in my recommended a wjile back and disappeared and I found it once again, and I’m glad I found it. This video is great. Childe has added voicelines now about the other Harbingers where he mentions that Dottore creates prostheses of himself to go tackle several different things at the same time. I interpreted this as Dottore cloning himself. As to if this is a hive mind or each prosthesis having a mind of its own, we don’t know yet. However because we don’t know yet, it could lead to one version being playable (like the one in its prime, because why mention it if it has no relevance to the game?), and another not playable(could also be that we fight against prime Dottore and that’s why he’s mentioned), or one version of Dottore fighting against others. I’m hype for Sumeru and for more Fatui lore!

Raiden is definitely the Knight piece because: 1. It was she (Knight) who took down La Signora (pawn) during her Archon quest; 2. Knight pieces can move in a vertical or horizontal L shape (2 squares vertically then horizontally or 2 squares horizontally then vertically) and two signifying Ei as Makoto's twin; and 3. The Knight piece is a head and a neck which represents the brain and the brawn respectfully where Makoto is the idealist and Ei the formidable warrior. I was confused why your other video of this teaser was gone, but I'm glad you added more details to this version of the video though! I enjoyed watching it more.

If both twins are the two kings, there’s a pawn that was blocking the opposite king, and the knight piece is in front of it. I know my explaining doesn’t make much sense, but what if a harbinger has already gotten to our twin?

the freezing could laso be remanants of signora cryo powers, hence the butterfly since the effects seem to be the same as in her boss fight... the pieces moving could be his powers. he seems like cryo used based on his decorations

It's odd that he's called the jester which means the fool, it's possible he's actually against tsaritsa supported by your video maybe the reason why he has a similar look to Dain is because of where he's from but he looks older could be that he was the king of the place Dain is from

I think the line about "checkmate is not where the game ends" might even go a step further and mean that every player on the board should die, or at least on one side of it. After all, the preceding line is "not a single pawn may be spared"

My theory to why the Dendro Archon/God of wisdom makes no argument against her people's folly acts is because, maybe some of her people knew something that they shouldn't know about hence to why they act like they don't , to protect themselves from the gaze of the devine, or the Dendro Archon/God of wisdom just doesn't want her people to persue to this knowledge, or particularly just not wanting them to know this 'knowledge', and continue on with their folly acts instead, as to what happened to Orobash at enkanomiya, they were sentenced due to this knowledge.

So I've been playing honkai more often and I feel like the fatui honkai counterparts are the flame chasers 1-Raven and arleechino both has an orphanage 2-Kalpas and Childe both has thirst for battle 3-Kevin and pierro both been alive for so long And are leaders of huge organizations 4-Mobuis and dottore since both are doctors and tend to transform themselves, mobuis boss between phase 1 and 2 summons tiny versions of her self called creation of eternity I dunno what else other than Signora looking like cocolia which is not a part of the flame chasers

with how the video ended with (possibly?) dottore’s clone burn down a giant tree and there’s a pattern with trees being significant to a nation’s archon, something tells me the “blasphemy” dottore is talking about will somehow affect sumeru’s archon in a BIG way
