This is a gentle exercise class designed for seniors with limited mobility, or for true beginners. The entire routine is in the chair and low impact. If you're looking to increase your range of motion, perform functional exercises, and get moving again, this is the class for you.

I am new to exercise and I am 68. I like the NO music as I concentrate better. I have done 2 of your videos and will do more as I can. Thank you for doing all of these for women like me.

I love these simple exercises first thing I wake up in the morning . I’m going for my left hip replacement next month and need to strengthen my legs especially. These exercises help me a lot. I look forward to working out with you more. Thank you.

I recently hurt my foot and am not able to do my regular walking exercises. The chair exercises are the perfect solution. I'm getting a workout without more injury to my foot. Thank you.

Hello 😊 I loved your workout, it's like almost perfect for me at the moment, I have arthritis in the knee, shoulder, hip and back, I have been struggling with weight loss, my joint's hurts so bad 😞 I can barely move, I had to do something, my husband went on line he found a few workout videos, I went through them, but none of them were for me until I can across you, and boom there you was sitting in the chair doing you😊 the steps are very easy to do, the workout was awesome 👍 after I got finished I felt good, made me come back the next day, now I will be doing this routine workout everyday,😊 Thank You for the inspiration. 🎉

I started with her15 min video and this is more challenging after a week or so. I am 77 and this is a good workout for me; not too much talking and a lot of movement. As far as music goes, I think I prefer without.

I am back lost my way this summer but struggling with my osteoarthritis knee heading to see specialist for first time in a month. I know using your videos I can improve my situation before seeing him for a better future outcome than possible surgery. This video was exactly what I was looking for something that focuses a lot on lower body. Could you suggest or tag me in a few more of your seated videos that work gently on the lower body so I have a few to choose from daily. As always when I get motivated to have healthy mobility you are the one I turn to and have for many years. Welcome back, Cathy! I’m so glad you’re back exercising again. I’m also glad to read that you have an appointment to see a specialist soon for the OA. If a video doesn't have ab exercises, I have a few core workouts that you could add on to this or other workouts. I often include core work in my newer (and longer) workouts.

I have participated in a lot of your videos I am having some pain in my knees so decided to try this chair exercise. Very Good. I just wish it had some soothing music included some soft soothing music, without words.

10/12/23 just did this exercise, I found it to be gentle, However with a sore back, I found it to be challenging, I'd like to see a more gentle workout.

Hi Linda, I have lots of gentle workouts on my channel now so my suggestion is to try other ones in the 'gentle level' playlists and then save your favourite ones into a 'favourite' playlist of your own (if you look under the video, you'll see 'save'). This way you'll be able to keep the ones that work best for you. Also, in case you haven't seen the new channel dedicated to chair workouts, you might find more there that you like. At 78 I work in an ALF and appreciate no music but explanations. I want memory care folks to understand as best they can and not just move to the music.

Hi Paula, just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. The 'gentle level seated' playlist will be best for finding appropriate videos for your group. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I hope that helps.

It doesn't matter when you exercise. The best time to exercise is when it suits you, your schedule and your energy level. The best time is anytime:)
