My mare is incredibly gentle and slow moving with children. They know when a being is fragile. Horses are thoughtful and intelligent, and nobody could ever convince me otherwise.

L.M. I spent my younger years on farms. My grandfather had two miles, and two horses. The smaller mule would not move her hooves if a small child was close to her. She had to see the child in front of her before she would move. of name, of course was Maude. We climbed into her, rode her, let her eat out of our hands. Both the mules and the horses were gentled, never broken, not hit. A click of the tongue, they walked. Lean forward, and say "take me there fast!" And Maude would. Charlie was 15 hands at the shoulder. A bit contrary, but gentle. The horses were gentle too. All of them were intelligent, and gentle. Yep, we loved them

And that warm, sweet hay breath that comes with it. I always breathe it in when I’m administering multiple muzzle kisses. Which is daily. (I’m very lucky.)

A horse's nose nuzzling the hand, yes. But humans are not supposed to kiss animals. Too easy to transfer diseases. Have seen some people kiss dogs on the mouth. Dogs do and will eat feces, and other things. And then kiss husband or wife. Consider this: Fido goes out for an hour or so to take care of watering the trees, the fireplugs, and to see if his/her buddy, Butch has left messages on that little sapling trunk. Fido sniffs the message ...... Getting a bit of his buddy's saliva on his nose. No more messages. Fido licks the saliva off his nose. He fertilizes the bare spots of the lawn. His owner (not his mommy) calls from the back door. Fido runs to the door. Owner picks him up. Gives him a kiss ... On ... His nose. Before she can move her head, he slurps her across her mouth. Now HE/SHE has some of the message from Butch. In wiping her lips, she accidently smears a bit of saliva into her mouth. What did the message from Butch say? RABIES, or some other disease. About 9 days later, Butch, Fido, and the human ...are dying. A lady who kisses her dog should not pass doggie germs on to her husband, or children. The unmarried women, men, or other? They should have a card they should show to anyone showing interest in them that says I kiss dogs.

@@cynthiahusband106 I got teary-eyed too. I think animals touch our hearts so deeply because they’re so full of pure love and pure motives, unlike so many humans in the world today. It’s a sad time that we’re living in when animals treat people better than people treat people. We could lay that baby down in that horse pasture and trust that those horses wouldn’t harm him/her nor would they let another animal harm him/her. Could we say the same thing about people if we laid the baby down on a city sidewalk? IMO, the answer is no. Call me crazy, but I have a whole lot more trust in animals nowadays than I do humans.

Chris, I agree. However, some people let their dogs sleep on their bed. I don't agree with that practice. What if they have a horse and a dog? If the dog and horse sleep on the bed, where will the people sleep?

I want a mustang from the Arizona Mustang Ranch. Beautiful animals and when you are their human, they'll follow you around like a dog. The first one of those I rode was in Cuba, at the Naval Base. Fine animal.

you can almost trust this horsey to tongue bathe her baby like they would their own, because after smelling her curious package she realized it was hers and that mamma and her horse are bonded. She wants her horse to bond with her baby. Mother accomplished TWICE

Yes, horses are incredibly 😅 The typically wildest horse, when faced with a creature that they feel needs protection and 'mothering', will calm right down until that creature, whether human or other is out of any danger before ever putting themselves back into their normal persona. I've seen it time and again. That's why therapy horses do so much good!!!!!

@Jesse The Persian Kitty horses do give love or cleaning nips to shoe care as you can see it wasn't a full hull off an bite because horses are highly expressive animals if they felt the need to or wanted he would have bit harder this was a barely even a nip showing that the horse knew the baby was fragile and showing care. As I wouldn't ever do this this horses do have concept of their own power and act accordingly most times. This horse is well trained and tempered helps too.

Horses are so intelligent, gentle and absolutely amazing. You cannot tell me that they aren't aware of humans and feelings and emotions. It's been shown so many times that they absolutely are. And it looks like your baby just made a buddy for a very long time.

I just ❤❤❤ when the "animals" of the house meets the new, strange looking bundle of innocence by giving them a thorough smell check, with an occasional lick 😋 before giving a seal of approval lol This is a beautiful moment. Thank you for sharing it 🥰

@@ronallen6578 I have this passion for animals. Most people just don’t give them enough credit. Even the so-called “wild” animals. There are clips all over YT about animals saving people (the toddler who fell into the ape enclosure and was rescued by a gorilla), and yet, humans continue to mistreat and abuse them. There are plenty of YT videos documenting this as well. So seeing a story like this really does make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that some humans actually do get it.

@@deborahjeanne2141 At least the ones that care about animals. Some animals were given to us by God to be companions, for a better choice of words. Dogs, cats, horses and such. I believe a lot of so called "wild animals" would live in harmony with humans, but we continue to crowd them out of their natural habitat. Chances are they were there 1st. How many times have we seen videos of "wild animals" seeking help for the young or mate from humans willing to "listen". Call me a sucker, but watching those videos gives you hope for at least some of us!!

@@ronallen6578 I really can’t say it any better than you did, my friend. Everything you said is oh so true. I watch the clips of these so-called “wild animals” and I’m so overwhelmed by their empathy- an emotion that animals technically don’t have. Humans should have as much empathy as these animals seem to have.

@@deborahjeanne2141 I'm nothing but an old(66) softie for animals. Unless it's sick or injured or possibly killing off other defenseless animals, I'd have a hard time killing anything. Most wild animals are beautiful in their own right, minus opossums and ugly looking critters. Those things are flat ugly🤣🤣. Animals were put here for a reason. Not just to be killed or abused by heartless humans. Plenty of people that would not agree with this and that's fine. Like everyone, it's just my opinion.

Horses are such sweet creatures. My best friend when I was younger was a horse. I'd go to the barn and ride her several times a week. One time she accidentally stepped on my foot and I started crying and she wrapped her head around me like she was trying to hug me and make me feel better. The barn got shut down and she eventually got sold and I still miss her. I really hope to see her again one day. ❤️

Animals aren’t as dumb as a lot of people think they are. This horse for example. He (or she) knows how delicate this tiny creature is…and simply gives it a gentle sniff and nose rub.
