I definitely needed this video, as a young man in my early 20s I have a receding hairline especially my edges. I just been debating on shaving my head, it’s like dang why am I experiencing this at my age. I’ll give the shaved 🪒 head a try for the new year

I started losing mine at age 21. I definitely waited way too long before just buzzing it close/shaving it. You think in your head when your trying to keep what you got, and think it doesn’t look that bad, when in fact it does. Just buy some clippers, buzz it that way and always have the option of shaving it. I feel for ya. Once you decide to shave it, looking back later, you’ll wonder why you took so long.

You don't have to shave it off, man. Especially when you have a side part, the hair style will look better if the part is kind of in a "unique" place, where the hair recedes on the edge. My hair is probably way more thin than yours and you can be sure it will take decades until you are so bald you'll have to get a buzz cut or shave it off.

You won't be sorry. I was afraid as I had never seen my bald scalp, but I love it. The only thing I miss about having hair is how much it holds and hides sweat when eating spicy foods. Bring a towel to dinner lol.

Went bald at 20. I was gutted but im used to it now. I grew a goatee, bit of an absolute unit of a goatee but for me losing my head hair I really felt that something was missing of my head. The goatee really changed that. So when the vid says 'grow a beard, yeah, a good reccomendation.

This is really great advice, and especially what you said about not confining your entire outfit to just one aspect of yourself. I keep a longer hairstyle but it's thinning a bit and my hairline is definitely going places. Sometimes I get annoyed by the lack of volume and how fragile my hair is, but mostly I'm fine with how it is, and I don't really center my style around "dressing up" my thinning hairs. I do however like keeping a beard to offset it a little. Also, don't worry about losing your beard! It's not gonna go anywhere. If anything, the facial hair tends to get a bit thicker when the head hair goes.

Agree with the part about many other guides confining you to a certain look. Every article I found told me that if I decide to shave my head then I must grow a beard to compensate for it. I recently bought my first safety razor and started to enjoy shaving. If I ever grow a beard it'll be because I want it and not to try and hide something.

Great video, a lot of the information was to take away the emphasis on the bald head, however, if you love a bald head and rock it, like yourself, can you do a video on clothes that will compliment and bring in the bald look, in other words, bring in emphasis on the bald head instead of away? Guys try vneck shirts and a stubble if possible. I didn't think I could do it but, I started getting lots of compliments about how sharp my shave looked after choosing a v-neck. Literally changed my shirt and that was all. 😅

I never even realized Kyle was sporting the bald look (and I’m an observant female); seriously didn’t even notice because he looks so put together and I guess the nice, thick beard balances the face in the same way a head of hair would. I like that you guys are advocating for style for everyone, not just the 22 year-old model types with thick manes of hair. :)

Was losing my hair and constantly caring about it/fixing it so I buzzed it and feel way better. People don’t look at me like a little Bieber boy with swoopy hair anymore and I also found there are girls that specifically like this look more than others😏 Just get in shape before and you’ll be good.

I think the thing that sets some bald guys apart from others is face/head shape. I was afraid to completely cut my hair off and accept going bald because I was unsure if my head would work with being bald. Once I finally did bite the bullet and completely shave my head, I realized my head shape worked well with being bald. Now, I can not imagine having hair on my head. And, as with all things acquired by a person, you start to notice it everywhere you look. And, I do notice and feel sorry for balding/ bald guys that have head/ face shapes that do not look good bald.

I've been shaving my head with a razor since 1995. Nowadays I only have to bother about the back and sides as mother nature took care of the top, but I've never ubderstood men who worry about being bald

One thing to keep in mind especially for clean-heads is to always wear a hat with a full brim when in full sun. Wearing caps can lead to unsightly mid-scalp tan lines, although I've never had a problem with a beanie in the winters up north. Daily use of a good lotion with proper SPF protection is a good idea too.

I trim my head on the lowest setting possible, zero I believe. Every time, my scalp is super dry and my skin flakes/peels as I trim. Any advice on product to use for this? I am not totally bald yet so putting product on my scalp can feel gross when my hair grows in after about a week.

From what I have seen chore coats have the two big round pockets that open from the top at the bottom, while shirt jackets usually have a side opening slit pocket at the bottom.

I started balding at 23 honestly...i didn't care i just shaved. At 30 the beard gods blessed me my beard growth doubled so in short just shave it guys its only hair you are more than a hairline.

Been shaving my head completely since 2007. One of the decision I ever made. The rethinking of the fedora suggestion stung. I not wear one often but would love to. Not able to wear one as much as I would like to due to the fact of my job. Not sure i will stop wearing my fedora. I get the reasons behind the suggestion but I wear one for sentimental reasons. I am no hipster by any means. I am into classic mens wear because I feel a man should dress and act like a gentleman not a “ peasant “
