Yes I soooo needed this! My two baby boys are coming soon (maybe tomorrow, who knows?) and I would like them to stay a bit longer. It's my first pregnancy and I'm a bit worried since a week or so I'm having more and more contractions. Fingers crossed! Thank you for the video, so helpful ❤️

I can remember when I was in school the girls always asked the others sitting behind them to "play with their hair". Which usually meant brushing or braiding but we all loved it and had no idea what asmr was.

I don't know if I'm weird but I also started to feel asmr even before I knew it was a thing, when I went to kindergarden :D. It was time for sleep, wich I never did, but then one day I slept soo good, because I was watching the teacher gently touching the candle while talking. And also in school, like, I loved to stare on someone when they are gently touching something because they were bored, and got tingles too 😂. So strange.. But at least I know how to call all that🤣. It was just weird for me in age 7 to find out I like to watch someone touching or scratching something..

DinaMīts same! I have felt asmr tingles since I was a small child. I also nearly cried when I discovered what misophonia was and that I wasn’t just insane my whole life.

Uh Oh Spaghetti-os Yes. Absolutely. Mouth sounds (chewing, smacking, slurping, load breathing etc) are my biggest misophonia triggers. Even someone talking when their mouth is too wet can set it off. Clicking, tapping, brushing, page turning... mostly crisp/dry sounds are my auditory asmr triggers. This is by far my favorite asmr channel. Maria has talked about her misophonia triggers before and they are really close to mine. Which is probably why I so rarely have misophonia issues with her videos.

I was thinking of opening one but I'm not sure I'd have much success, I think ASMR isn't popular enough for that yet, but not sure, then I thought about getting a following 1st, but then it will become a safety issue to just have anyone show up to a youtubers house or location, not sure how to get around all these things but its definitely been on my mind for the last year or so

I also enjoy her camera perspective techniques. Other artists treat the whole thing as the face while Maria treats it like the eyes. I think it makes more sense, but I do also understand wanting to make sure all hand movements are seen and not wasted. But Maria's method is better imo.

I’ve listened to this every night since you posted it. I am a person who is relaxed by ASMR but never tingles. Imagine my surprise when I start tingling during this video! Specifically when you put the oil on the mannequin’s face. Please do more of that! I am so thankful for all of your hard work!

I've been a massage therapist for 4 years now, and it is sooo refreshing and relaxing to see others (yes, even a mannequin lol) get pampered. 7 years ago, I came across ASMR videos for the first time, and it inspired me to follow my dreams. I wish I could open a live ASMR experience clinic one day. Anyway, Maria always knows how to give me tingles. Very nice video!

I got emotional when you started talking about ASMR in real life. I'm not an emotional person at all, but I guess it made me realize how much I (and many other chronically ill/ homebound/ isolated people) could benefit from this. It would be like a much-needed vacation. If you ever make it to The Netherlands, I want to sign up! Really enjoyed this video. Very relaxing and tingly. x
