Thank you for this, I just came across it tonight. Three years ago today I found my sweet Momma on the kitchen floor. She had a stroke and could not talk but she could communicate with me. I was able to kiss her forehead and tell her that I loved her and that she was a good Momma the next morning right before she passed away on Christmas morning. Christmas will never be the same but your song helped me tonight. I share your grief and send you hugs!

In 2011 I lost my sister to cancer, 4 months later my mom passed, 1 month later my Dad passed, and the next month my other sister. How do you grieve 4 people you love all at the same time? One at a time, with the Lord’s help. Only Christ can help you bear that much pain. I lost two more brothers this year and last year. Each one is with the Lord and I know I will see them again. My only son died in August of this year. Yesterday, was his 52nd birthday. At soon to be 74 myself, I know I'll see him again soon and very soon. So, "TO Be Continued..." Revelations chapters 21 and 22 Halejuah and amen! 💗💝💖🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏☝️☝️

I felt that exact peace you are singing about. On my plane flight home from my dad's hospital bed while looking out the plane I saw the most beautiful peaceful view out of the window of the plane. I just felt he was gone at that moment and was saying goodbye in the most beautiful way possible. When I landed in Baltimore 30 minutes later my wife met me at the gate and said "your dad passed away about 30 minutes ago". My response was 'I Know". To this day she asks how I knew with no cell phone on the plane.

I lost my Dad at 620pm on April 20,2020. He was 94 and an veteran too. Thankful for this Gospel and knowing my Dad had an family reunion at same time. No more suffering for him. He will accept the fullness of the Gospel. Then one day my parents work will get done too.

I lost my grandma last week to cancer. I thought I had gotten over the emotions. But listening to this song and the story that inspired this rendition, my emotions came rushing back again, but not with the sole grief I had felt but with a reassurance of God's presence in the midst of trying times.

My mother passed away 4 weeks ago. I live 5 hours away from my Mam and Dad. I received the phonecall in the early hours of the morning and as I was on the very last part of the journey, I felt prompted to turn off the radio and to sing some songs. I sang the primary song 'Mother tell me the stories' and I as I sang the second verse, (Child, I am here. Can you feel that heaven is near?), I was ovecome with the spirit and filled with peace. As I arrived at the house, my brother opened the door to tell me that I had missed her; Mam had died 20 minutes ago. But I already knew. That witness of the spirit had told me that Mam had left her mortal existence. Be still my soul has always been a source of comfort to me and this is a beautiful arrangement that I have shared with my grieving siblings.

In 2010 I was the chorister in my church and responsible for picking the hymns we would sing. One Sunday I felt very impressed to sing this one, just a few days later my sister called me and told me my mom had cancer and just a few more months to live. Since she lived in Germany, I decided to fly out right away anyways - it turned out those months were only weeks. I was able to share this hymn i the forms of a recording with her, it comforted her and our family - this has a very special place in my heart. Thank you so much for this recording. I will certainly try to see if I can perform this in my congregation.

I’m listening to this song while I go to sleep and so many people hurting and mourning. And I’m pretty guarded with my heart so I just broke down crying and I haven’t had a hug in 2 months because I’m sick. I don’t know if it’s because my immune system is just sick but I don’t have a fever tonight. But everyone needs to understand that I’m being responsible and I would never expose anyone. So you have a voice and respectful. People want to get back to normal and not be on lockdown. They protest it’s their right to be outside. But what about me and others who stay in and it’s all for nothing because I have a right to get better and it’s violating their rights but what about our rights?.. please everyone keep in mind you can have your rights but at my expense and I will never get better. So your song makes me have hope and peace. I don’t know what I have but I do know I’m contagious... so this song helps peace to rest my mind and thank god for life time....you guys are awesome 😎

Being away on a mission, and your Mom passed away, with you not there, just broke my heart. We had an Elder that served in my Ward back in Kiribati couple years ago, whose whole family died in an accident while he was all the way on the other side of the world 😭 serving his mission. I never met that Elder as I was also on a mission in Brisbane at that time, but I heard of his story when I got home and I just broke down! 😭 You guys are one of the strongest spirits up there! God knew you can cope with anything no matter how hard it is. My friend lost her husband ( my cousin) to lung cancer in 2012 just 2 days before his 41st birthday. She found a wonderful man who was so good to her and loved her so much. He passed 12/31/2019 from colon cancer. He was not yet 50 and had so many promising things to do. WE LOVE YOU JAMIE!! We will take care of Anjie for you. My heart just breaks for her, even with all the love, prayers and family support, this is utterly devastating. One thing to hold onto is that he is in the presence of God. Thank you for sharing your story and this beautiful song. Your experience hits home. My daughter was serving a mission in 2015 when my husband who was 53 years old was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He died 8 months later while my daughter was still on her mission. The hardest time of our lives. Although I wish she would have been able to see him one more time, I am grateful that she was on a mission where she was enveloped in the spirit. :)
