My favourite creed is my absolute favourite fragrance of all time - Himalaya! Super underrated and super simple but it’s simplicity does not make it generic. Never smelled a ~crispier~ fragrance than Himalaya

Just to let you know, the boxes don't come wrapped to this day. I actually am a business manager for Creed and if your getting them wrapped it's because fragrance x is wrapping them, at the retail level they absolutely do not come wrapped. Just thought I'd share that bit of information so you have the right info for customers.

I have to disagree. I bought a bottle of Creed Aventus straight from Creed Boutique, and it was wrapped in plastic. I bought it in December 2022.

I bought a 100ml Viking Cologne for $259 at a discounter. I think the key thing to remember with Creed (which is not mentioned by Ash) is that Creed doesn't have a single "BEAST MODE!!!" fragrance in the entirety of its lineup. That isn't what Creed is. The Creed value prop is therefore entirely in the eye (nose?) of the beholder. This is a Fougere fragrance with notable Creed DNA, which is how it should be judged, and for me (I originally bought a 5ml decant shortly after it released), I love it. It's bright in the opening, and settles into a beautiful green musk. The compliments I've gotten on it have come after the 5 hour mark and from people who weren't within 3 feet of me. For me, despite the fragrance executing what it set out to do, is not worth $450, but it IS worth the $259 I paid for it. Do some digging and you can find a 100ml for what Ash paid for his 50.

Disagree Viking lasts forever and some so does Green Irish tweed. Over spaying any of these two gives me a headache that’s how strong they are.

Picked up Viking a week ago. It’s definitely not a daily wear fragrance but it’s in my rotation. Spicy notes from peppercorn and citrus at the beginning and develops into a more woody scent over time. Definitely a winner

My favorite Creed fragrance is the original Viking, followed closely by Aventus and then Green Irish Tweed, although I can never quite bring myself to pull the trigger on a full bottle of any. I do pick up decants from time to time though.

Depends on your nose what strength you're used to. Viking is by no means appropriate for indoor activities. It's a salty punch. My collection is purely safe fresh scents with a pinch of spice for that masculine touch. Viking Cologne is exactly that. Allthough they don't smell the same, it acts kinda like Spice and Wood, Royal Water and Himalaya. Very fresh with a woody/spicy backbone which is my type of signature scent.

Hi Ash! Inspired by your praise for Green Irish Tweed, I had to order a sample of it and smell it for myself. Just received it today and I absolutely love it already! Such a pleasant fragrance! Thanks man, new favourite! Only Creed I've smelled before is Aventus (surprise), but I'd love to try a few more of Creed's lineup.

I have only smelled Aventus on other people, even from down the hallway. It just has a wonderful smell, which is also why it is one of the best fragrances I smelled.

I've actually never smelled any Creed scents besides Aventus. It's just waaaaaaay out of my price range lol. Having said that, the one I'd like to smell the most would be either Green Irish Tweed, which sounds AMAZING, or Silver Mountain Water. Great review as always, Ash. I splurged and finally bought a bottle of aventus. It's decent but for the price I was expecting to get a lot more compliments. I got more when I was wearing colonges that don't cost half as much.

Aventus is the only Creed fragrance that I've tried and was pretty impressed.. I need to eventually try Green Irish Tweed because I'm a big fan Cool Water and I hear they're very similar.. Creed has some quality atomizers as well..

Yeah the house has quality and you can smell the difference. In the past month and a half I've really got into the Creed house and have acquired Creed Cologne and Green Irish Tweed. Waiting on Viking and Viking Cologne which should arrive in next couple days..👍

I believe I would like Green Irish Tweed the most. I don't have any Creeds in my collection due to the price. But I do have an Aventus clone...Armaf club de Nuit intense. If I was going to spend that kind of money I would go for Parfums de Marley. Thanks for the video Ash!

@@TsunogaKidz_YMD I think you're mistaken, CDN is the original. CDNIM is a very specific flanker that is easily identifiable. Fragrances like Milestone/Sillage are CDN, but definitely not CDNIM.

@@phillyguy0987 If you smell MI and Milestone side by side they have distinct differences. So far nobody has been able to recreate that distinct ozonic saltwater of MI. Agree though, in the air they are almost identical.

Great review as always. I had the opportunity to test this one a few weeks ago, and I agree with your opinion on Viking Cologne. To me, its a pleasant barbershop-type scent; the opening really reminded me of Drakkar Noir with that powerful lemon bite. Like you, I also felt a little underwhelmed by it, which is a real shame. Original Viking is definitely the superior choice, but Millesime Imperial and Green Irish Tweed will always be my favorites of the house. Thank you for the review.

Go to Nordstrom, Saks 5th Ave or even Macys or Dillards. It’s a let down for the price range. Parfums de Marley is a better niche house in my opinion.

If you don't want to fork the cash, buy a sample, or a clone like Club De Nuit Intense Man, or Mont Blanc Explorer (I prefer Club) There's alot of fragrances that have that Aventus DNA

Viking is ok. Reminds me a lot of Big Red chewing gum on the opening. Got a Viking cologne sample ordered. I own Aventus and the Aventus cologne. I tend to grab the cologne 2 to 1. It’s smells so bright. As far as clones. I have the Armaf EDP limited edition and it does smell just like Aventus. But. You can tell the difference in the quality. Has a synthetic smell. I like the Creed lineup because the quality is nice, it’s rather expensive in regards to performance. Can’t wait to venture further down the niche rabbit hole.

I actually really enjoy Viking cologne. I had both Viking and Viking cologne and after an hour or so, Viking was a minty skin scent. Viking Cologne seems to be a bit stronger and smells better in my opinion. I appreciate both though. I just got a 100ml bottle of Viking cologne for 220 new. I feel like that price is fair. 250 for a 50ml is a tad steep, so I agree with that. great review!

Chanel Allure Homme Cologne type DNA. Love them both , but I’d like more strength from Creed.

I like the Viking OG, but I don't even like the idea of Creed, presumably a niche house, doing flankers (plus charging the same high prices). I would love a decant though. Bois du Portugal is my favorite Creed. The smoothest fragrance I've ever smelled. And yes, I'm "an old man in a barbers chair ".

To be honest, i would love to smell Creed Aventus since the profile fits me more than others in the line. But i wouldn't argue smelling Viking.

I would be most interested in trying Himalaya and Viking/Viking Cologne as I've had some experience with Creed's other scents. Royal Oud and Aventus have been my favorites because of they inspire confidence. So I'd be interested in seeing what Creed does with a "fresher" take.
