Absolutely 💯 humans should be labeled as pests! They're quiet bothersome. I have three squirrels I ended up befriending. They rat peanuts almond's and drink water. They look me in the eyes with nothing but gratitude! We're all just trying to survive...💜💜💜🕊️

My little squirrel friend "Stumpy" who lost his tail crossing the street, ate out of my hand and shared snacks with little dog, Katie. Then he brought his "wife" and wee ones to visit. She was shy... so he always took snacks from me to her and the babies. They lived a long time, hopping through the canapies of my tall oaks... 💖 thank you for sharing.

What a beautiful little squirrel. It's heartbreaking to think she would have been euthanized, but she definately would not survive in the wild. I'm so glad she has a loving home with you.

There’s wildlife sanctuaries all over the USA, and u can adopt animals from there. Of course one has to show how the animal will be kept and taken care of. But it’s an awesome program. We would like a fox.

Very Precious, We have had ours for almost 9 months, Slowly introduced Him back into the woods in our yard A month ago, He still comes into our house every Day, Our Baby Loves to have his arm And everything tubes to, There very smart, Sweet Little things!!! Love my Tinker's!!

What a cutie!! My wife and I have raised and released dozens of them now. When we go outside it almost rains squirrels from the trees. They come down and say Hi and take a piece of avacado or corn or pecan then go back up in the trees again to their lives. Super smart little fur balls that seem to remember where they came from.

As a child i used to feed nuts to Squirrels in the garden. Eventually they got brave enough to sit on your lap and eat. Such clever and beautiful animals.

This squirrel girl is adorable (and her mom, too! ❤️). I feed wild squirrels on my balcony and they are so much fun to watch 😊. The sqiurrels here in Germany look totally different and are much smaller, but equally cute and have a lot of personality 😅🐿

I would take exception to dog owners, this only applies to people who have the care and patience for wildlife. Dog owners are all but patient people, like their dogs they're obnoxious, impolite, dirty (95% of down owners do not clean their dog shit in public place where it is the law to do so), and are not respectful of others.

15-20 years would be world record territory. That species averages 6 years in the wild so 8-10 for a pampered captive squirrel would be more likely.

Exactly. Bianca's disability means a life outdoors would probably be a death sentence, but she's a rare exception. Healthy squirrels should live in the wild.

I raised two squirrels from a pinkie to full grown. One male and one female. A couple years apart. I made a special squirrel formula for then later squirrel granola balls, play areas inside and outside in the screened in porch. At around 5 months, we began to open the screened door and sit in the yard. They’d hang on the screen and didn’t like the grass at first. They eventually would come and go, then finally left. But the make would come back and chat or climb the screen. I miss them but I know being free was more important.

Animals know when they've been rescued and I think that's why rescued animals have such strong personalities. They live every day at 110% because I honestly think they know they shouldn't be around (as awful as that is to type). I rescued a cat at 3 weeks with pneumonia and her personality is absolutely insane for a cat. Don't wanna think of life without her, just the same as this woman with her squirrel. Thank God for good people like her👍🙂

Heartwarming! I've always liked squirrels, and liked watching them play. They're so agile, and they definitely are smart. I watched a video of a guy (think he was an engineer) who constructed an obstacle course in his yard for squirrels. They really are amazing, because the course was Not easy. I also really love how you don't encourage people to have them as pets. They should be free (except in this little Cutie's case) 😍

It's is incredible to know just how family oriented they are. I had a red foxtail squirrel named Mollie. From being a pinky, to opening her eyes, to rehabbed. I miss her so much. Every day for the last 4 years. 😊

I had a little chipmunk named Squirrel, the cats hurt her and her rear legs were rendered useless. I cared for her for 3 years after 3 days of her fighting to live! She was not close to me, but she sure did not want to die! I gave her the best life I could.

I had no choice because the wildlife shelters I called said to bring them in to be euthanized becyase they had no room. I had 3 baby raccoons who imprinted on me after their mother was killed by a rabid male raccon in the area that I raised and found a sanctuary for, all types of birds, bats, squirrels, a fox, chipmunks and even a butterfly which I have videos of on my page...not to mention dogs cats. My God is mother earth and all her creations are one of a kind, valid and deserve love, life and respect. Thank you for your kind words.

We had a family of squirrels that lived in our yard for about 3 years when I was a kid. They're pretty smart and friendly

We raised a male squirrel once. Found him in a garbage can, eyes still closed and covered in fleas. He was cold and nearly dead. We fed him around the clock. Named him Rocket Man, and he was wonderful as a baby. But being male, once he grew up, he got pretty aggressive. Luckily, he was very healthy by then and we were able to release him. He came back the following Spring to visit...along with his spouse and babies!! Never saw him again after that. Hope he had a good rest of his life.

I love to feed the squirrels in my yard. They all have different personalities. When the feeders are empty they come to my window and say feeders are empty! Thank you for taking such great care of her!

Each caring person is to his or her own after all there was a St Francis who cared and loved the animals and taught us much and there was a Father Flannigan who care for the children ((BOYS )) and taught us much.. so every species -- humans -- have their own.. She acts like my little cat 😭 my little cat always pretends or does throw a big tantrum but loves to cuddle and push and wrestle. It’s so wonderful what you did taking her in when she wouldn’t have survived. She loves you so so much
