I snuck into San Diego Comic Con over 10 years ago and while at Geof's booth, I said "WOW! This is Geof Darrow!" The guy there was like, yeah. I was like "He's one of my favorite artists!" Then I realized "Are you Geof Darrow?" He laughed and said "Yeah" then he pulled down all his stuck up display prints and handed them all to me. I still have them. Amazing work.

Thank you guys so much. I've met Geoff Darrow several times in my life starting in '94 and he is always so fun to talk to and he genuinely enjoys fun conversation. He used to live near Jimbocho in Tokyo where my wife's family lives. It's a book shop neighborhood. I've found some great stuff in those shops like old Otomo comics. He chatted with us in his limited Japanese and we all told jokes and funny stories. The whole time he kept drawing funny pictures in Mike Mignola's sketchbook when he wasn't looking. They are good friends as well. Keep it up Comic Kayfabe. I'm learning and so inspired by the content you share.

Seeing Darrow’s work for the first time made me think that it was the work of some machine, or at least some mad alien. It inspired me so much to find out that, not only was he HUMAN, he’s also from IOWA!!!

Man do I miss running into Geof in. Chicago at cons. He is easily one of the most friendly, charming, funny, and talented guys I’ve ever met. Always great to listen to you guys have a chat with Uncle Geof!

This reminds me when I had slipped in a marriage proposal in my first graphic novel. It was too subtle and printed smaller than I thought. Sort of backfired a bit as I had to point out the page to (my fiancé) can’t remember if the editor was aware of it till after the fact. It wasn’t the woman I wound up actually marrying anyhow.

Barely started it but super excited, can we get loads of people coming back again and again? Especially Geof obviously but I wouldnt mind that at all, everyone has so many cool stories to tell

How do we get a weekly Uncle Geof segment? Consistently the most informative and endearing content. Love the rapport and respect. Rewatched his shoot at least 4 times.

Fantastic! Uncle Geof is incredible. I've liked his work for a while, but knowing how cool, humble, self deprecating, has made me a fan for life. I'm getting his current series and am slowly my way through his back catalog. Incredible how his trajectory intersects with so many greats of the industry.

Never a dull moment,guys! I’ve been reading Geoff ‘s work since Hardboiled and later Big Guy and Rusty the Robot and like everyone else extremely impressed with all the details he puts into his stories! And that’s goes double for Jean Giraud aka Moebius! That book you looked at Geoff was my first Moebius along with Richard Corben’s Den! Thanks again for keeping the flamethrower goin! Keep reading and making comix!

I think the time is ripe for a Shaolin Cowboy anime adaptation. Netlfix is getting more experimental with their animation division. It's possible.

Man, if there's something I never thought I'd hear it would be a "Dragon Lives Again" segue in a Geof Darrow interview. And he even left out when he fights some mummies that's basically just some dudes with toilet paper rolled up all around.
