GeoGebra Discovering Pi

In this video I demonstrate how to construct regular polygons inscribed in a circle with a slider tool. This is extended to discovering Pi and is modeled after Archimedes Method of Exhaustion.

nicely done; geogebra is such a great tool for classroom demos/explorations. it shows the power of mathematical creation, conjecture, and can help students visualize in real time.

Could you elaborate on how do we get the perimeter by using the measuring tool, diameter, and the polygon?

Click on the measure distance tool, then click on the center of your polygon and it will measure the perimeter.
