I speak Spanish and I was able to understand some of Tagalog words like "interesado" and "trabajo"

The Phillipines was conquered by the Spaniards in the 16th century so Spanish is integrated in Tagalog. This is why alot of Filipinos have Spanish last names like Garcia, Santos, Reyes, Bautista and more.

In Serbian, "Mali" means small. So, its funny because Mali borders Niger, and Niger means, well "a black man". So in Serbian the names these 2 countries literally mean "small black man" xD

My mum if from Islay and I’m there on holiday right now. My heart almost stopped when I saw Lagavulin Distillery on a post card in a Flag/Fan Friday episode. My grandparents run a small shop in one of the large villages who sell postcards so they could have easily touched that exact one. Btw Islay is pronounced aye-la

There is this legend that Mansan Musa, after his pilgrimage to Mecca and when he was coming back he used to give way gold to people throughout the journey. And this give away created a negative effect on the ecomonies that he passed through coz he gave away so much gold that there was surplus and the value of the metal was devalued (similar to what happened when Spanish found the Silver Mines in South America)

Señor Sirowatko Actually, the name Canada used to describe what is now Québec. The Britshits started calling themselves "Canadians" in the 1890s. Before that, only French Canadians were called "Canadians".

"Address" as a *verb* is pronounced "uh dress" (like "a dress"). As a *noun,* it has *both* pronunciations, but it's pronounced the same as the verb when it refers to a formal public speech, e.g. the Gettysburg Address. ;-)

Islay is pronounced "high-lay" and is known for its Islay scotch whiskeys, whiskeys that have very smoke-like, iod and hay flavours usually. Lagavulin the town showed on the pic is also known for producing the reknowned Lagavulin scotch whiskey.

Woah I didn't know that spelling Mississippi was a game 😂 We used to that in elementary school. (Somebody likely brought it there, seeing as it's an international school.) And also I learned the counting with "Mississippi" and "one thousand" in high school 😂 #trivialearned
