One of our favorite geoguessr maps, but with a time limit..
Turns out I have done this before - just before I left for Boston. My score that day, 18,837, is very beatable though. Let's see how much I can beat it by!
Reckon you can beat it too?
PLAY ALONG: Play your round, put your marker down, then switch tabs back to KZfaq to watch my attempt and the result. This way you don't ruin the game or the video!

"Let’s stop messing around looking at people and guessing how Greek they are on a scale of 1-10…but he’s about a 7" 😂Your humor is one of a kind! In Riga you overlooked the best clue for Latvia: “iela", which is Latvian for street! Street in Lithuanian is gatvė, hence the g's at the end of the street names at 19:27. And Mayotte is not a country but rather a part of France, with the status of overseas department since 2009. Unlike the other Comorian islands, Mayotte opted to remain French in 1974. But Comoros claims Mayotte as theirs and has a white stripe and star for Mayotte on their flag.

As a lithuanian, the last round was pain until last second. 😆 I'm so glad you changed your choice. Hint: The word "street" in Latvia is called "iela", in Lithuania we call it "gatvė". This should help you in the future.
@realdamageboy
@realdamageboy Жыл бұрын
Not so easy, Latvia also has street named Gatve, but without special ė char. Gatve is big wide street. and when street is named of some important man, then it changes name from iela to gatve.

That's what I was thinking. Telling apart Lithuanian and Latvian can be just a matter of remembering which characters appear in which, and basic words like street / road etc. And even if you don't remember them, zooming in on the map and comparing! That's what I do with Scandinavia too.
@TurboFryer1337

I found Genge St (I could tell that it didnt say george) but couldn't find Narwellan...but made an educated guess. Took the full 3 minutes. Round 3: 4,983. I saw the sign over the bridge that said Jakarta, but I couldnt find the exact spot. Still happy with this. At this point I am only 1 point ahead of you, so the tensions are high. Round 4: An utter failure. Only 148 points. I am unfamiliar with which African countries speak French. I could make out some signs saying what I thought was Cam for Cameroon. A disappointment but it is what it is. Round 5: 1,518. Another embarrassment. For whatever, reason I went with Romania?? Total score: 16,679. First 3 rounds were great, and then I took a nose dive.
