My favourite would have to be the last place. These cabins are made beautifully. I was a bit unsure of the contrast between the brightness of the window view and the dark rooms inside but I think you're eyes would adjust to it quickly enough. I love the idea of places that do not take over the environment they're built in, blending with the area around them rather than standing out too much.

Norwegian cabins are epic - more than worthy of whole episodes

Yeah Norwegians seem to know what they're doing when it comes to blending with nature. They were just stunning compared to the first one.

Yeah I agree, especially as the outside was so colourful , the inside had no character, could've added more colour or plants etc

For when you have so much money that, you think a giant ice cream carton is an ideal getaway from reality pmsl.

While these seem epic, they don't seem cozy at all. You just can't beat a log cabin in the mountains for coziness, with a nice wood stove.

1. How does one get on a bed with wet boots? 😮 2. That last one looks like parts of the house in Ex Machina. Amazing!

I would love to live in one of those final Norwegian cabins. I’d love to see what they looked like in the middle of summer to contrast the dark interior with the outside with little to no snow. But with global warming being what it is, that would be a true refuge from the world as things heat up. What wonderful spaces.

The views are amazing, but I'd never want a blinds-free area, especially in a cold climate which is subject to massive amounts of radiation. Your liver would never get to sleep. The fact that I have been using scarves as blinds for years (can't afford blinds!) is only a testament to why I'm commenting. There's no use in ignoring health risks in favour of views outside. You need to be able to control the light in your home.

That cabin in Switzerland has no connection to either its surroundings, nor the Swiss heritage. It´s just ugly!
