George Clooney is one of the most admirable actors in Hollywood. But, as a man, he's extraordinary--a loving and caring human being. He loves humanity. His wife, Amal, is very lucky to have found him and their marriage and family--with two kids--the best blessings they share together. We need more guys like George Clooney.

Walked to HBlvd often to see matinees including yours. Then to Musso and Franks. Late afternoon bar scene was so fun.

I’ll bet he’s one of the coolest dudes on the planet. No ego. No pretentiousness, just a really warm, smart, funny guy. He reminds me of a couple of guys I’ve known in my life. I’ve never had that kind of charisma, that kind of “cool” (whatever that is really), that draws people to you because it makes them feel important, safe, and worthy. They don’t make enough of these guys. How much better off our country/world would be if we let guys like this run the show instead of the egomaniacal, self-interested, closet tyrants running it now? George Clooney recognizes two essential truths: money is not wisdom, and wealth does not make the man. Two things our little-minded politicos fail miserably to recognize. This guy has his heart and mind in the right places.

George Clooney is not just a good actor, he is also a great humanitarian who stands up for the weak and vulnerable in society. He has met the perfect match in Amal who herself is a brilliant international human rights lawyer and activist. She has represented many clients, including journalists, who have been the victims of false charges by despotic regimes and she has succeeded in getting them out of jail. George and Amal have co-founded a human rights organisation called The Clooney Foundation for Justice whose mission is to help and support victims of human rights abuses. Actually, his dad moved around quite a bit, climbing the journalism career ladder. He was even a game show host for a bit.

@@stevesanzari7294 OMG-saying Rosemary Clooney was a 40’s singer Is like saying that Beyoncé is a former girl group singer. It’s accurate but not the ‘truth’ of the situation. I grew up playing my mom’s 78’s on the record player (With a real needle though not a hypodermic needle) And Rosemary Clooney’s voice was like having melted butter Poured over your skin (In a fantasy, of course, The reality of pouring melted butter on your skin is problematic With regard to temperature and texture. . . But somehow it sounds like it should feel sensuous.) George pretty much had to make it on his own. . . He paid his dues But I did hear that he always knew Rosemary’s friends were Good for a couch or a meal. Thanks for your response Took me right down memory lane.
