Trop peu de vidéos sur Clooney nous permettent vraiment d'entendre et d'apprécier ses engagements et points de vue de citoyen. Ca change du glam et des paillettes, des foules en délire ... et c'est plutôt intéressant. Merci pour l'initiative.

I think playing roles that are as demanding as the one that Clooney earned this Oscar for - for which he had to gain about 50 pounds and then losing that weight so fast after that, which affected his health tremendously - is just one example as to how much playing a role can require and take from you; all so that you do the role justice and not insult the character that you're portraying, especially if it's a biographical piece, and also so that critics don't insult you for a half-hearted job.

I can see how people could see this as being "smug" but really, he was just trying to make a few jokes that were sarcasticly smug, to show his personality. He seems like a good guy if you ask me.

Good point South Park is a Fantastic show with a lot of interesting, important, and fascinating points. Matt and Trey are both very open and honest with their opinions, they may get a bit over zealous at times but that is what makes them so funny and amazing. But before you mimic Matt and Trey's show you should consider thinking before you type or speak.

So I think it's unfair to assume how easy actors' jobs are & how they don't deserve the money that we don't necessarily know for sure is the amount that they earn (cause there're so many other people are credited for a film) These brilliant actors, like Clooney, Blanchett, Streep, deserve more recognition than that. Unless u're talking about less talented actors making chick flicks or smth like that... That, I agree with you. Beside that, I don't think it's fair for u to just comment like that.

It takes a lot to play such roles artistically. It's a huge responsibility for that matter. There's a lot of preparation when it comes to drama. Take Hilary Swanks' 2 Oscar-winning performances for example. Million Dollar Baby required her to train for months and gain pounds of muscle and weight (which may seem like a plus point at first, but really the post effect is quite traumatising because the body is so used to the diet or the training that she needed to go through for those few months).

And it's not everyday you get a million-dollar paycheck. There are thousands of struggling actors out there. People like Clooney took years to get to where he is. Before that, he could be earning 5000 for half a year.

Its true I wouldnt have used the word "SMUG" I would have used the word Stupid. A bunch of actors and hollywood phonies who live in a fantasy world think they somehow know more than people who actually live real lives.

And not EVERY actor or film earns millions of dollars, especially not the low-budget ones. Independent films, like Syriana, which earn Oscars don't do as well as blockbuster hits like Spiderman 3 (which have high budgets which cost millions to make... so the millions they earn from audiences is just to cover cost... and THEN they earn their money after that, which may not be that much per person cause just look at how many people are involved in making big-budget films like Spiderman 3).

Boys Don't Cry required her to live as a man and alter her mindset so much, it was psychologically painful for her. Chad Lowe and her had to go through months of hard time together so that her life could go back to normal after the film and to adjust her mindset back to normal.

Again. Not everyday, and not with every film. Hmmm... you didn't mention anything about the Oscars before. Let's just not compete about that because I've met people who share your sentiments about the Oscars before and it's just easier to agree to disagree with regards to the honour and prestige of the award, because in my opinion and in my life, the Oscars is a huge thing. So let's just not debate with regards to that.

After all he did do the voice acting of a dog on the show. So maybe before you call some one the hateful word "fag" you should no your facts and consider growing up and stating a point without the use of homophobic terms. You may not know this but Matt and Trey are both friends with George Clooney, he has reappeared in a few of their episodes and has a pretty good sense of humor about things
