Yes, it is called "sundowning" and is quite real. I was the night nurse for each of my parents for several years before they passed away. What I observed during the debate with Biden was VERY familiar to me. Please listen to reason, Biden needs to step down. Every working stiff with an elderly parent would respect that decision and boost the new Dem. candidate.

Same here. The Biden we saw at the last debate with his half open mouth, blank stares, and inability to make a cogent statement was the exact same sort of thing I watched my own father go through for years before he passed away. That wasn't a cold, or fatigue, it's a sign of serious cognitive decline. Once you've experienced it first hand, it's unmistakable.

For those of us who have dealt with those living with dementia, this cognitive decline of Biden’s is nothing compared to those I’ve dealt with. These massive obligations of him to handle which floods this or that is not good. Your description is wrong though. You seriously think that those with sundowners could handle that Q&A? Or these presidential responsibilities? Not even close. Personally, I’d prefer someone who really has a better grasp than someone working hard to just maintain, but you have to be honest with yourself that those with the condition are much much much worse than Biden. Yes, it is something, but not this old man wandering in the wilderness, lost and not knowing what he needs to do

When the reporter said Clooney left 3 hours before Biden, I just took it to mean Clooney wasn't sticking around to talk to Biden because Clooney didn't want to talk to him. Not every swing voter has all those things you've enumerated in mind when they go (or NOT go) to the polls. The problem here is more the fact that we give the American voters too much credit for knowing at all anything civics or politics. Feelings, for the most part, sway the undecideds. For all of the blue Magacux mouthing off in the comments, the problem that the voters have is Biden was essentially forced on the American people while his declining Health was kept hidden from the American people. The Democratic party at every opportunity sabotage or simply did not hold primary elections that would have replaced Biden, thus forcing him on the American people rather than giving them the opportunity to choose the person they wanted as candidate. This is the kind of behavior you expect to see out of North Korea or russia, not America. And the fact that the Democratic party is engaged in this Behavior is unacceptable.
