In reality, someone like Ada would probably be his boss. She offered good recommendations, managed expectations and was pivotal in producing good results. She’s more than qualified to just be a secretary. Well organized, efficient, and forward thinking folks like her generally climb the corporate ladder faster than folks like George.

@@steverogers7601 Dunno in what world you live in Sir, but the higher the position in a company the dumber the people who have those jobs. Competent people like Ada always get the job done and most of the times companies never recognize them. You see, corporate doesnt want bosses that can actually think for themselves, they just need people who follow orders without questions. Im 40 years old, in all the jobs I had I was overqualified and better at the job than my so called "superiors". I´ve never got promoted. My bosses always took credit for my work and didnt even gave me a raise or a thank you.

I used to have a 30' boat that in today's dollars would be worth $350,000.00. I had a gf who I had to have put on a robe or change before docking it because she almost caused me to rack it up against the dock once or twice. One time she decided on that moment to start putting on suntan lotion....ARRRGH STOP IT lol One time a sales rep I knew brought his french gf down and they were both on the tanning pad on the bow.....we were just leaving the harbour and started putting lotion on each other. He was sitting in the seat across from me at the helm. I looked at him, he looked at me, OMG lol...He yelled out "stop that, you're going to cause an accident" hahahahah

I once worked in an office with a stunningly hot secretary for a short time. Her looks were so disruptive the owner had to let her go. Maybe she unintentionally caused problems in the office, but it was the only month in my 4 years at that company that I looked forward to work each and every day.

But one in particular - she and I entered a patient's room - the female patient who was old enough to be our grandmother was flabbergasted. Her eyes and mouth flew open and for 10 seconds or more she couldn't speak. Then she said, "My GOD!! You're so beautiful! You're like a movie star." In fact, she was that beautiful. She was breathtaking. And her personality and humor were equally wonderful.
