Ridiculous opening question from Paxman. Why the hell should George feel guilty for ousting a black woman? She was an opponent and he won.
@psycoticbastard5 жыл бұрын
Well the BBC would do that
@billydeeuk4 жыл бұрын
He lead a racially charged campaign. Paxman even quotes some of it back at him (“women who had blacker faces than her”). Therefore the race of his opponent was highly important.
@mixeduphouse44284 жыл бұрын
You missed the point of his question, idiot. He was referring to Galloway's race reference before this interview.
@sethsteele95003 жыл бұрын
@@mixeduphouse4428 @billydeeuk Cool. The Baroness King voted for a war that killed 1 million people who would be considered a racial minority if they lived in the UK. George was absolutely right to call her out.
@cockoffgewgle49932 жыл бұрын
@@billydeeuk He said that IN RESPONSE to the same accusations Paxman was throwing here. He wasn't the one racialising anything ffs. How can anyone be this dense. He won because he was one of the few voices against the illegal genocidal invasions Labour were undertaking. Which have killed at least half a million people.

This is solid f-ing gold, but what makes it truly iconic is the almost childish crassness of Galloway's gloating: "I've got a lot of people who want to speak to me", "One of - Even by your standards ! - one of..." It's like he wrote a little list of cheap digs he needed to get in there and every now and again he realises he's forgotten one and has to wedge it in somehow. Magnificent.
