Peter Vescey is the best NBA writer ever! His knowledge of the NBA was second to none. Mr VESCEY used to write for the NEW YORK POST. He was interviewing the "ICE MAN" in this video. The ABA stats should count on their career stats. The ABA was a great league and GERALD GOVAN was one the greatest rebounders ever in the ABA and Mr GOVAN was one of only 6 men to play sll 9 years of the ABAS existence.

It should have been done! The 4 Teams left from the ABA in the NBA after the Leagues merged the Pacers, the Spurs, the Nets, and the Nuggets are really in the League because the NBA wanted Dr. J in the NBA as Soon as Possible!

ABA head to head with NBA scores favored ABA. Remembering the ABA is a website. There were 2 All Star games played. NBA barely won. Vegas wanted a super between Nets and Celtics. NBA didn’t want to do it. 1st year of merger had Nuggets going to western finals and losing in 6. You be the judge

The media has a funny thing with Jordan. They will coddle him and treat him like a baby you should be sorry for "he was cut from HS team, they froze him out, The Pistons did not shake his hand." While also telling you Jordan is the most competitive and ruthless player that ever lived and that he only cared about winning. Which if so then those things they try to garner sympathy for him on should not apply. You see it with the fanboys. They will tell you Jordan is above all and is the reason why any positive of his career happened. Yet for any negative of his career it was everyone else's fault and we should make excuses for him. I suppose Nike, NBC, and ESPN did a masterful marketing job. The double standards are treated as fair and you are called a hater if you don't use them yourself.

Instead of looking at a half-season popularity contest that any casual observer could vote on all star game - Let's look at where they were placed for an entire years worth of play by individuals who followed the game closely all year. For every Bulls title Jordan had Pippen who was: 1990-91 All-Defensive (2nd) 1991-92 All-Defensive (1st) 1991-92 All-NBA (2nd) 1992-93 All-Defensive (1st) 1992-93 All-NBA (3rd) 1995-96 All-Defensive (1st) 1995-96 All-NBA (1st) 1996-97 All-Defensive (1st) 1996-97 All-NBA (2nd) 1997-98 All-Defensive (1st) 1997-98 All-NBA (3rd) For the 1993 ring Jordan has Grant who was: 1992-93 All-Defensive (2nd) For the 1996 ring Jordan has Rodman who was: 1995-96 All-Defensive (1st) For the 1996 ring Jordan had Kukoc who was: 1995-96 Sixth Man of the Year Now look at what 90s best on team players like Ewing, Robinson, Olajuwon, Malone, and Barkley had on their teams and it becomes apparent who had the most super support relative to that time. Jordan is the one among them with the best support across the 90s.
