Hearing this back in the 80's I never knew who did this music as I had Shazam it and then look it up on KZfaq a music video I never saw or it lease it had one until now. My very first dance audition was for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company in 1990 to this song and I had the pleasure of dancing in front of Mrs. Debbie Allen! Oh my God I love your story. Debbie allen? Business? So many questions. I actually had the extreme privilege and pressure of being a lighting technician in several nightclubs during the height of this song which lasted half a decade. I danced to this song hard when this song first came out at the Old Exit Bar in Chicago on Clark. Frikin Awesome and I’m soon to be 61 and just played it and danced to it! I turned this song on a few years back to my kid that’s 18 along with The Cramps, Ministry, The Smiths and a whole lot more
