Hearing this back in the 80's I never knew who did this music as I had Shazam it and then look it up on KZfaq a music video I never saw or it lease it had one until now. My very first dance audition was for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company in 1990 to this song and I had the pleasure of dancing in front of Mrs. Debbie Allen! Oh my God I love your story. Debbie allen? Business? So many questions. I actually had the extreme privilege and pressure of being a lighting technician in several nightclubs during the height of this song which lasted half a decade.
