Just now finding out about this. What's crazy is that just a few nights ago, I was listening to his song "Kissing a Fool" and thought, "he'd sound good singing Love's In Need of Love Today." I guess because both songs are in the same key. But it's still amazing that this particular Stevie Wonder song popped into my mind before finding out George covered it. His version is so heartfelt. Despite the fact it caused George many problems around this time I actually loved the period where he was disputing Sony. It meant he sang covers of already legendary songs and made them so much better! His version of if you were my woman, sexual healing, loves in need of love today, the long and winding road, all come to mind and I just love the fact he gave these songs a new lease of life.
