Don't define George by his tragic death, celebrate what a fantastic artist he was. His music is timeless and will be enjoyed by generations to come. This is one of his best duets.

The song George sang with Aretha was 'I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) and George also sang a song with Whitney Houston too called 'If I Told You That'.

George was more than just his addictions and demons. He could sing any genre handed to him and make it his own. Duet wise, my favourite George duet is 'This is not real love' that he dueted with Mutya Buena. That song did not and still does not get the recognition that it deserves. If you have not already done so, please have a look at George's MTV Unplugged session from 1996. This session showed the rest of the world just what an amazing singer / songwriter / music producer George was. There will never be another George Michael 💜

George Michael was invited to perform during the 50th anniversary celebration of the Apollo theatre at the Apollo theatre in 1985 with almost every big name R&B and Soul singer/groups you could imagine. He sang his song Careless Whisper with Smoky Robinson (that was NOT a good song for Smoky to sing lol) and when asked who he would love to do a duet with - George said Stevie Wonder and Stevie's song "Love's In Need of Love Today". Here is the video of it: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bLyKeJaB0rzNm3U.html Stevie was so taken by George and has been a fan of his since. Stevie actually gave GM standing permission to cover any of his songs and GM did I think he covered 6 others than As. 1) "Love's In Need of Love Today" (live) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n5tzkptym7KYqps.html - such a beautiful version! 2) "They Won't Go When I Go" (audio only) so haunting! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pceklJCc2NPcmps.html 3) George volunteered to perform at the (Free) Nelson Mandela concert in London's Wembley Stadium in 1988. He did a 3-set song and one of them was Stevie Wonder's "Village Ghetto Land". kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g6uYediI19DUl6s.html He can sing anything and sounds this amazing live - sounds like a recording. Not many singers have that talent. Enjoy!

Mary J had her issues too. George was much more than his demons. He was a legend.

And it wasn't released in the US because Mary J Blige's record company blocked it.

I could do a better “reaction video” with my turtle than these two clads! Needless to say I would have to get a turtle, bond with it, develop a banter, and show it how to wear glasses.
