My name is Don Yacovella I'm a full time furniture maker.I like to build mid century modern style projects and will often work with live edge walnut , cherry etc. This project was inspired by the work of George Nakashima. Beautiful! But, when having these skills of yours, why didn't you use sliding dovetails instead of metal brackets?

Thanks I have a few reasons for that one is shipping clients need to be able to assemble the legs easily.The other is budget I try to build the very best piece I can within my clients budget expectations.
