This is sustainable fishing! Nice clean bag of Yellowtail - it's just an illusion though...According to NMFS, there's none left. That's why the trip limits have been cut in half yet again. There is too much negative propaganda on here about commercial fishing - draggers in particular. Envrionmental organizations have the power within our region and Washington. It is virtually impossible to go to your local supermarket and find locally-caught seafood. You can thank your Federal Government and various environmental organizations.The US continually imports more and more of it's seafood each and every year. That codfish you just ate was caught by a factory trawler from Norway. That shrimp was raised in some cesspool in Indonesia. Educate yourself about what we face as an industry. Demand locally caught seafood at your local resturant or market. Locally caught fish IS sustainable. Support YOUR commercial fisherman.
