Even aside from their slim majority in the House, the Republicans can't kick anyone out without having to answer for the fact that their front-runner is facing 91 criminal counts in three different jurisdictions. As evidence: Not a single Republican that I'm aware of has called for expelling Democratic Senator Bob Menendez despite his being caught with hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and a bunch of gold bars. Their mantra has now become: No consuquences absent a conviction -- although I'm guessing the last part of that is likely to change following the first Trump criminal conviction.
