This guy is still rocking it tonight, right now, at 71, in Las Vegas on Fremont Street for free. I am kicking myself that I'm not there! Great performer!

This man is personally responsible for damaging my hearing after two concerts...lived every minute of it.
@markdelcheccolo91912 ай бұрын
The first band that messed up my hearing was Led Zeppelin in 1973 but as yrs went on and going to many concerts, when I saw George Thorogood it definitely didn't help my hearing any. He's absolutely an awesome entertainer and an excellent guitarist 🎸✌🏼💯

a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I saw George & the Destroyers in Eugene, Ore, at a tiny club called The Place. We sat next to the dance floor, about 7 or 8 feet from where the band was playing...it was almost like a private concert. It was great, and unforgettable.

It's crazy to think that the time of this most rockin performance ever, people were huge into Culture Club and Cyndi Lauper just coming out. Like what was hip vs. What is Timeless really shows.

Hank Williams certainly wrote a lot of great songs, didn't he? His son's not too bad either. Good of George to remember him and give him the Thorogood treatment.

George is Elmore James bastard son and Elmore would be proud. I might be wrong but think Bo Diddley might have been George’s uncle. Or was it John Lee Hooker? I’d cook supper for all those cats.
