My ex-husband was a huge Beatles fan. He knew every word to every song on every album and had a big collection of vinyl albums. It's one of the things that made me fall in love with him. He was the love of my life. But he was a hopeless alcoholic and I reached a point I could no longer live with it. After our divorce, he moved to an apartment a few blocks away and I continued to help him as the disease was slowly killing him. In the end, I found him deceased in his apartment. When I went to clean it out, on his turntable was the album "All Things Must Pass". I know that was a final message to me. RIP Chuck and George.

Lost my dad this morning. Despite battling Stage 4 Lymphoma, he suddenly passed away during the night. It hurts so much. He was not only my father, he was my idol, I was his record-hunting wingman. He was my best friend. I hope wherever you are now, that your journey is a safe one. I love you and will miss you always.

this song saved my life. i was going through a tough time at school and i had no one. i was constantly bullied, punched and called homophobic slurs. i'd always come home and just isolate myself in my room and just cry. George Harrison's music was the light that lighted my world and i am forever grateful and thankful for what that man has done to my life. i'm currently in a much better place now and i've made some amazing friends. it is true all things must pass! Edit: Wow, I cannot believe my little comment ended up into this. I am eternally grateful for all of the kind words I have received. I never wanted to gain attention from this just simply step back and thank George for the gift of amazing music he has brought to not only me but the world. God bless you all ❤️

I was going through a rough period many years ago, and I read George Harrison's biography "Dark Horse " And in there he gave the Maha mantra ( the great mantra for deliverance) Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare So he said " chant and be happy " So I used to chant this mantra in my mind at first ....being shy , even at work. Then slowly but surely so many amazing and auspicious things started happening .....truly saved my life, 25 Years later I am still chanting the mantra as part of my meditation . So as he said the... proof is in the pudding !

I've been through the same. George passed away when I was 9 years old and I was starting to go through a lot of hell with my parents divorce at the time and I was already into the Beatles. But I was always listening to George's solo music and I felt like I had a friend who was there for me during my suffering. And now things are better for me too. I'm glad to hear that someone else has been through some kind of hell and that George Harrison has been a comfort to them too. :)

That's what he was trying to get out of John and Paul during their last days in January 1969. They worked on this song a lot; but, "All Things Must Pass" didn't end up on the album. From the audio, it appears that John and Paul liked the song and put in the time. Maybe George's ordeal with his wife was making him grumpy and he just wasn't himself. Also, if John or Paul had just asked him: "What's your vision for this great song you wrote George? How can we convey this?", they could have finished it as a Beatles Tune. Yet, it's a masterpiece on George's solo album.

Oh! George your are gorgeous Way you slide the guitar, we really wonder what you are! You radiate more than a pulsar. You carved something deep, in the barks of our hearts, Coz your songs are too infectious. Oh George, you’re gorgeous. Oh George, you’re gorgeous. Way you strum each and every chord, It makes me closer to my sweet lord, Your tunes are mystically augmented. Your voice is unparalleled and lyrics truely unprecedented. It’s all too much contagious, oh! George you are gorgeous. We are brainwashed with your music!!!

28 years and my bf & I split. Half a lifetime ago...on 10.15.2022. Really that was, I think, the 'anniversary' of our first date...we didn't date much because it was so clear that we were lock & key. But things happen. Sunrise doesn't last all morning...in fact the light of day will quickly fade to night. But try to hold your heads up & hearts too...you all still have time. Maybe I do, too.

George was the spiritual & philosophical Beatle. The trip to India stuck with him more than the rest. His involvement in "Concert for Bangladesh" showed his love for sitar music & the people. This is such a fine song from one of the members of the Greatest Band that has ever existed.. The song is so gentle, compassionate, and Human.. And it's also, in every respect, a George song.. As incredible as they were, John couldn't have done this, Paul couldn't have done this, and Ringo most certainly couldn't have done this.. The Soul, the deep sense of Spiritual Curiosity, and the search for Greater Purpose, are just a part of what he brought to that band, even though he was often overlooked, or even ignored.. We know that they all loved one another very deeply, especially John and George, and I suppose, more than anything else, That is the Biggest question about The Beatles - Why was George not given more Creative Respect in the later years of the group ? That's a Topic for Another Day, and Right Now is All About George Harrison.. The kind of person that we can all benefit from aspiring to be more like.. Especially in our relationships with our fellow Human Beings.. Thank you George, for there are few people who have had a Greater Impact on All of Humanity than you.. Love You Brother... Lary
