I'm a UGA grad living in Foley, AL. All the Tide fans have been very gracious. Besides the 41 years of waiting, beating the best program of all time, and the GOAT coach makes it sweet, and that's the ultimate compliment to Alabama. Other teams come and go and Alabama is always in the National Championship discussion if not winning it outright. Maybe Georgia can join that club for a little while, because it doesn't last forever. Nice to get one, though, after all these years.

If it could’ve worked out that we won the conference and beat bama for the natty, that would’ve been great, but their one loss regular season prevented that from happening. I couldn’t be more happy about losing the conference cause beating Michigan or Cincy for the natty wouldn’t have been quite as sweet.

@@mas5867 You do realize that people have analyzed that 17 season, and it is a known fact that Bama was put in the Playoffs in 17 just so that they could profit off of another Clemson v Bama game. Talk about backdoor, Georgia went undefeated in the regular season, every other team didn't, when you do that, you deserve to be in the Playoffs. If anyone had a backdoor it was Saban in 17 and arguably in 11 as well.
