Only thing I have to say is if stray bullets are flying like that in a home, with no record of where it derived from, I wouldn’t be able to sleep in the same room. Another stray bullet can hit the husband in that same spot.

I agree nobody grieves the same. When my daughter was killed a did a post letting people know 3 hours later. Idk why I did it at the time and still to this day I am I shocked and still grieving.

You're right people grieve differently. Some people are open with their tragic loss & others are more stoic publicly. When my younger brother died of cancer, my dad wasn't openly crying in front of everybody at my brother's viewing & funeral. My dad was never an open crier. He greeted mourners stoically. But it wasn't until the funeral service & reception was over & everybody had left, my dad was in my study alone. I walked in on him just bawling like a baby. He couldn't believe he had buried one of his boys.

Brings back my ugly memories😢It happened to me. Same month, October 20. 1987. I’ll never forget😞Lost my lil sister at 19yrs old, the same way. One stray bullet to the back of her head. It was careless cops, firing into a well populated community. She was asleep. Bullet landed in the back of her head. My lil bro was shaking her to wake up, cause he heard gunshots. That’s when he saw the dark spot & touched it, it was warm, he opened the windows to realize it was blood on his hands. She died on her pillow. He was only 11yrs old, he was traumatized. These things do happen.🙏🏾🙏🏾 for this family. Let’s all wait for the investigation though, it’s so sad.

Yes people do grieve differently, although the pastor and their children make appearances we don’t know how it’s affecting them when they are alone. Those are the hardest times when you have a lost of a loved one. Praying for them and God will carry them thru.

Plenty of unfortunate people have been killed by stray bullets for many years. It would be 99.9% impossible for this situation to be set up to fool ballistics forensics. Praying the perp is caught.

I pray for the family. Grief is a funny thing. I lost my mother & husband 5 months apart. I was in shock & I feel I cry more now than I did then. My mother had become ill but my husband was healthy & died. The man is In shock. How do I go forward without my wife, my friend, my children's mother all that she meant to him. If he thinks of something he wants to say to her & picks up his phone to call or text but he can't. You don't see everything & society has always told men you're not suppose to cry & show emotion & soon as that happens then the same society that tells men not to show emotion turns around & makes them guilty without the facts. Just pray for them & pray that justice is met swiftly

Dawson, I agree with you but also respect people’s right to judge and raise suspicions, that too is being critical. Most women die in the hands of their husbands and romantic partners and that is a statistic, so people raising brows are not wrong to do so at all! My thought is, if house is unsafe why’s he still there with the kids? This could after all, randomly happen again….

Years ago a stray bullet killed a 4-year old attending a Watch Night service in a church not far from where the Ellison family lives. So yes, random gunfire does kill innocent and unsuspecting people often in Dekalb County Georgia.

My sister's in-laws was literally taking a shower and she would have been struck with a stray bullet. It came through the wall and missed her by 2 inches....YALL IT HAPPENS

I went to Social Media to let my family and friends know that my husband had passed away. I found it easier than calling them all on the phone. Most of them responded almost immediately. I see nothing wrong with it.

It would take x ray vision to shoot through walls with the intent of intentionally taking out his wife. There are many things that can throw one bullet off track when it goes thru a building. And definitely would take more than one try. The police know the bullet trajectory it would be impossible for him to have done it.

I know..the way he kept sliding his wedding ring off and on seemed like a sign he was sending to someone. This case has some untold details. A private investigator would probably uncover a motive.

My father passed away July 29 th and I had lost my mother in 85 from cancer at 8 years the grieving process from 8 years old to now 46 is different, because I am older, but I am taking it one day at a time, and I was the only child so it is just me😢

Sorry for her untimely death. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of sitting with my granddaughter (9). She was in one part of the house upstairs and I was downstairs watching tv and heard this load sound, I then called her name and ran upstairs to see what had happened and we found where a stray bullet had come through the window tearing a hold threw the curtains, and landing near a wall. My son and his wife had recently purchased a home in a new subdivision where hunters would hunt. That was the scariest situation for me and my granddaughter. Had my granddaughter been near that window she could have been hit.

this is frightening. i am renting a house that's located at the end of an intersection and it means our large bed , its just the wall and a patch of grass that separates me from the outside world. not going to lie anyone at any mo can shoot from afar and super close and i'd be dead . i can hear full conversations of passers by i can see shadows thru the reflection of the blinders on my wall . its a pretty vulnerable space to be in. i can't move out because we do not have the finances .

Awesome job as always. You hit home about still being in shock about loosing a loved one, I am still numbed because of the abuse that mom suffered at the hands of “professional” and the extent they went to cover it up. My mother was very fair skinned so they actually tried using. Makeup to cover and conceal her bruises 😖 Gratefully My God is So Much bigger and his compassion is never ending
