Not all Americans know that Ukraine is only attacking oil refining plants. Not fuel and natural gas refining, so it doesnt affect gas prices. This is more of the oil tycoons price gouging the world as usual

Surely everyone would think you to be a real idiot if you could not stop an announced attack. On the other hand in Ukraine, they don't get notified that there will be a missile strike. I really believe Ukraine needs more help here to defend their airspace....

Ukraine should keep up what they are doing; congress and Republicans cannot find their ???? let alone feel any sense of urgency for what Ukraine is going through. Of course we have the ammo and patriot systems and so does Europe JUST get them there!!!

Kirby's explanation is a load of bovain manure. The only thing you can trist aboit the Americans is that they don't keep their word. For instance we will protect every inch of nato territory however not in Poland or Romania. Or we will stand by ukraine as long as it takes or until it is election year...

Why the hell is the US discouraging strikes on Russian oil refineries? I would have thought that hitting the refineries is a sound logistical move, or is this more Russian influence? Although it was the US defense secretary that said this. Apparently he was worried about "knock on effects." refering to the oil markets. As I've said, I think striking oil refineries is a sound option, because it means Putin can no longer export refined oil products, (which are more profitable), and when enough refineries are out of action Putin will have to import refined products and then decide how to ration it out between the military, civilians and industry. Slava Ukraine!

Biden shut down a bunch of our oil research projects and by do so the companies stepped back and instead of improving our American refineries and being able to move Canada’s production cheaper and safer sold off our strategic oil reserves the Biden administration and the liberal Democrats work for China the whole point is to force the planet into solar or ev use

They don't want strikes outside Ukraine that are not 100% military targets. Oil refineries are mixed military and civilian use. However the west has restrictions on what there donated weapons can be fired at and they haven't sent long range weapons that can hit Russia. This whole war is a joke really because no western country would fight without the possibility of achieving air superiority over at least some of the occupied territories. Ukraine does not have nearly enough weapons anything offensive at all from a western military perspective. You cannot get an invader out with just a handful of defensive weapons which is all Ukraine has been given. Not enough patriot systems for sure and not enough ammunition for it either.

Ukraine could argue that the cost of NOT bombing Russia oil refineries is too high FOR THE UKRAINIANS. The American politics are worried about rising gasoline prices in USA, but don't give a damn about the cost to life and infrastructure in Ukraine of the continued production from Russian oil refineries.

I'm no fan of America of late but they do have one minor point about intercepting missiles from Iran to Israel in that the distance is such that intercepting drones and missiles while flying over Syria is a lot easier than missile's lobbed from occupied territories in Ukraine. However, there's no reason a coalition could not stay within Ukrainian territory and do the same thereby not trespassing into Russia or occupied territories of Ukraine. The west needs to grow a "pair" IMO. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Iran had to safe face. If they didnt strike after israel struck iranian land (which an embassy is), they would be seen as weak. Btw not only russia benefits A LOT if the middle east is kept unstable.. lets just ask outself who started the whole destabilisation in that area.. oh right, the good old USA..

Puny, Lavrov, Peskov and Medvedev could make Russia a great country contributing to a unified world's growth through the multilateral sharing of knowledge, truth, science, humanitarian support and medical research. But NO, Puny Putler wants to destroy democracy in the democratic countries of the world. Alexei Navalny should have been the next leader of Russia, a true and democratic leader.
