Im not from the west coast but when I hear this song it reminds me of an orange afternoon in Venice beach California or Sacramento beach. Or Nantasket in Hull Massachusetts or Hummerock beach in Marshfield Ma during the summer

I can never put my finger on this song. To me, it’s not a happy song or a sad song…but it has restorative properties. I feel like I’m growing and moving forward when I hear this

I feel like this song could be the end theme to the perfect anime. It's a song that makes one nostalgic, even melancholic, for that which has come before, but also optimistic about what is yet to come.

This is life man. It's a tree thats growing and burning down all at the same time. There's beauty within the tragedy of it all. I really fuck with the idea that the point of life is learning to enjoy the passage of time. It's like that south park clip when Butter's got his heart broken but he said "I'm sad but I had to have felt really good before this to feel this way now. So even though it hurts this is a beautiful kind of sadness."

I know what you mean.....it is easily one of my favorite songs of the past decade....It sounds a bit sappy yet it stirs feelings in me of my youth...like when you are out with your friends at a bar and that one girl you were hoping to see is there.... you are hopelessly enchanted by her and stuck in her orbit the rest of the night....even if nothing happens between the two of you....you do not regret one minute of the time together.

I heard this song for the first time on the radio as I was driving to my great uncle's funeral. My mom and I were the only ones who took care of him up to his peaceful death at home. After the turmoil of dealing with his crazy selfish children, I finally had time to let the tears flow, and this song came on. Melancholy, beckoning song welcoming all who are tired and broken to drown all fatigue and tears away with the promise of freedom. At least that's how I felt at the end of the song.

The Corona commercial put this band on the map and I am hooked. Such a great and under-represented talent for their vocals, songwriting, and arrangement. They deserve huge success.

Heard this as background for Corona beer commercial and it Struck me! Paid for the download and it is now my official end of boating day song. There is this magical time at the end of a day on the river when everyone is a little tired, sun drenched, and maybe a little buzzed. We're usually slowly making our way back, the sun is creeping lower in the sky and everyone is mellowed out, soaking in the peace of the river, and I play this song. Its perfect! During a snowy cold day in January I played it. Everyone shut up and just stared into space, like a trance. We all laughed afterwards at how we all mentally transported to warm sunny days!

It wouldn’t be a Corona employee, it would be the ad company they hired to create the spot. A little story that’s sort of in the same spirit: My brother is an ad guy at McCann in NYC now but has worked for a few different companies. He was at Leo Burnett in Chicago some years ago, and he knows the guy who came up with the “Mayhem” ads for Allstate. He was a 20-something creative, came up with this idea for a character, and changed the trajectory of his whole career! It is the hope of most anyone in advertising to come up with something that powerful. Like on the show Mad Men. Those Geico commercials? Those are award-winning in the ad world. So yes! Whoever picked that song definitely created something memorable, and they probably did get a promotion of some sort!

I've been a diehard hard rocker through and through all my life. I heard this song on a Corona commercial and find it to be a very peaceful relaxing tune. I don't drink Corona anymore ... I switched to DOX-XX and never looked back ;)

It's interesting how commercials can lead people to bands that previously weren't that well known. Many came here because of the Corona Beer commercial. People found Empire of the Sun from the Visio commercial. And the Geico commercial led people to discover Royksopp. And sometimes commercials can lead people to rediscover hits from the past, like The Killers 2004 hit All These Things That I've Done from the Samsung commercial.

An old apple ipad commercial introduced me to Alabama Shakes, I now love that band and know most of their lyrics off of both their albums. Ive also heard songs on commercials or tv shows that Ive already found and am pleasantly surprised when I do hear them.

Im in a long distance relationship with who Im sure is the love of my life, and he shared this with me last I visited, it sounds and feels like him. Yes, the ad brought me to discover a great song. It sucks it wasn't already a huge hit. Great vocals, melody, hooks. Plus an incredibly positive, uplifting spirit. It should never take a commercial to uncover gems.

Just like several others, the Corona commercial brought me here too and I don't even drink! But the song is just perfect for the commercial and I have to stop what I'm doing and watch it every time it plays. It gives you that feel good feeling, you know.
