I love this! Trees and mountains are my favorite! I love how you see all the different images within a painting and then bring them out! I also was amazed at how you changed the circle to a fish! That was very interesting!

I love what you created with this artwork Gerda, and how you adjusted the focal point to a fish, a woody earthy fish, but it brings the whole work to a beautiful completion!! Love the yellow/ orange tones!! Like a Autumn forest with earthy fish!!!! Thank you xx

Beautiful Gerta! The thing that makes you run to your paints! I´ve tried 2times, but I couldn´t get the little lines effects with any plastic sheets. The blue-black paint was crushed or taken away! Well, there is something called talent....and you´ve got it in spades. I have 2 nice backgrounds anyway...Thank you for being so stimulating and sharing! The urge to try is invaluable...I agree with April Palmer.

Wow...so cool!!! Ich habe dich heute das erstemal hier gesehen. Soviele verschiedene Techniken. Wie du alle Feinheiten herausarbeitest. Tolles Farb/Formgespür. Das Bild hier ist mein Favorit.... ;-) kenne noch nicht viel von dir. Auch deine Monotypien so toll. Vielleicht fange ich doch wieder zu malen an. Habe richtig Freude gespürt, dir hier zuzusehen. Die Enstehung und dann deine Endkompisition. Wünsche dir weiterhin viel Erfolg. Herzliche Grüße

Thats funny because in the bottom left-hand corner I can see a big conger eel emerging and he is looking at the shark above,,what a wonderful painting,,,I had a goat doing this typeof thing but I do not have the imagination but I am still trying.

Another fantastic piece. But I don't get the 'correction'. I suppose she just didn't like the original 'boulder' and went for a surreal fish instead. Gorgeous either way. I find the best part of her painting is when she is working out forms with light and shade. Watching it is like a mystical experience - simultaneously inspiring and daunting. I keep asking 'how does she know what to block in'?

I like this one. You took the randomness of the textured canvas, and then pulled an image ( sort of a surrealist one? ) out of it. Nicely done.
