I am more of a fan of the energy and tongue in cheek nature of the weather girls original song. Martha Wash's voice is something else. Geri's version is pure pop delight and if it doesnt make you want to smile and dance then your lost!

+Shane Yee no, they were both made before KZfaq existed, so the KZfaq release date doesn't matter, and due to the quality of both videos, the weather girls version has significantly less video quality than this version, the weather girls version's video quality is similar to most 80's music videos and this version has video quality of most 90's music videos meaning the weather girl's version came first, but just look it up

+Shane Yee Actually AI has it correct. The Weathergirls recorded this back in 1982. In 2001, 19 year later, Geri Halliwell recorded her cover of it (as seen above). KZfaq publish dates are irrelevant when looking at music older than 5 years or so, since a lot of bands, singers, groups, etc only started uploading their music to KZfaq in the past 5 years.

Ginger Spice instead was copying Mel C's spice personality in this video and she wanted to show that she lost weight and her anorexic body. Mel C today has still incredible and better abs and looks younger and beautiful
