Thank you for your video! Is one of the requirements to get the citizenship first to have the Niederlassungserlaubnis (PR)? Or can you apply directly to the citizenship WITHOUT having the PR? Thanks in advance

I haven't seen anything requirement like this, even on the Citizenship application they have options that you can select your current visa status as bluecard... and usuallly spouses of the German citizen, apply for citizenship without PR

Hello Jibran, do you know whether to qualify for the 6 years residence early naturalization it is necessary to have studied at a German higher institution and in German language? Or a study in English language would also be ok? Or it is not a requirement to have studied at a German institution at all, thus the language skills + integration activities could be considered sufficient?

I have been living in Berlin since 9 years now. I have a Masters degree in Public Policy from here. I have a certificate from a language school indicating my completion/participation till B1 level. Due to studies, health issues and later having kids my work life has been on hold for quite a few years. At the moment I'm dependent on my husband financially - is it still possible for me to apply for citizenship if I'm not working but can provide as proof of income my husband's salary slips?

When you submit your documents for Einbürgerungverfahren, do you need to submit your existing Passport and German Permit as well? So if it takes 3 months to process, you are not in posession of Passport? Or do they just loon at the original and keep a photocopy? Thank you for your help.

no you don't need to submit anything. You submit your passport when you cancel your previous nationality. and you give your German permit when you get Einbrgerungurkunde.

Thanks for the information, one question is the stay in Germany should be continuous? I lived 3 years for my Masters+Internship and left Germany after 8 year now I have returned to Germany. So does the previous stay of 3 years count? Thanks

Hi, you should be eligible for PR. I have done masters in Germany and I am a phD student as well. I changed my student visa to the work visa (18b) and after 21 months, I applied for PR and I got it.

As per my understanding, you can also apply after 2 years as you completed ausbildung in Germany but please ask your einburgerung department for up to date information

Thank you for your video, please is it possible for someone who have a resident permit through arrival of his child get citizenship after 3years?he has worked here for five years ,he stayed here for 7years now and he got his resident permit 3years ago because his asylum was rejected but he later got resident through his baby. Also his girlfriend is a recognised refugee under( political asylum)though she is not working because she has little kids and she has lived here for 6years ,they are planning to live together now,but don't know who is qualify to apply for citizenship ,please can you help out?also since his asylum was rejected some years back,do you think those years will be counted also?

Very interesting video. Regarding German Citizenship after 6 years. I have a question. I am from Denmark and I came to Germany in June 2016 because of the work, I did German B1 and B2. But I haven't done Integrationskurs, I wanted to do it but they told me that I am not allowed to do it because I am from EU and as EU Citizen its not a mandatory to do it, only if there are free places. Do you know If I can apply for the German Citizenship after 6 years without Integrationskurs, I am from Denmark and EU, if you are EU citizen you don't need visa or work permit in Germany, also you don't need Aufenthaltserlaubnis from Ausländerbehörde.

Buddy, As you case is very specific, I don't know exactly if the same rule applies to the EU nationals. You can simply drop an email to Einburgerung and ask them.

Did you get any reply? I came to Germany in 2017 from Romania (EU as well) and already spoke very good German. I only did a C1 level but no specific test to certify my language skills. I have a master degree in Romania and came to work as a software engineer in Germany. Can I get it in 6 years?

Your already good integriert if u have C1.. u can aready apply actually after 3 yrs but still depends what kind of Aufenthalt u have.. if u have for example aufenthalt nach 18b

Now she also got the job(blue card eligible). Now we need to apply resident permit. Is it better to directly apply blue card or apply normal resident permit based on FRV. We know from blue card to PR, it take 21 or 33 months based on ur language skills. How much time will it take from FRV resident permit to PR. Can you please provide ur inputs. Thank you

Buddy, this part I am not clear. www.service-bw.de/leistung/-/sbw/Aufenthalt+aus+familiaeren+Gruenden+Ehegatten-1229-leistung-0 According to this link, your spouse also gets the PR after 3 years of living in Germany and also your children. but they used the word that if it is a spouse of German citizen, but this is the same requirement for citizenship as well. That's why I am little confuse regarding their statement about the PR of spouse. If I find a concrete answer or source. I will add it here. One thing, I know that if your spouse completes the integration course, then her visa is valid as long as your visa or till the validity of her passport. Now it is up to you if you want to change her visa to Blue card and apply for PR after 21 or 33 months because one way or another she will get the PR in approximately the same time period.

Are you required to work(pay pension + taxes) all those 6 years to get citizenship? Or can you save money, get PR and then live in Germany without working until you reach 6 years(assuming you saved enough money, so you are not dependent on the government payments) For PR you are required to pay pension(and for that you need to work), so is it the same logic for citizenship?

As in the application, you can apply alone, irrespective of your wife's resident status. If you only apply for yourself, then it doesn't matter what is the status of your wife's visa.

Do we must need to maintain anmeldung and health insurance after getting PR or Citizenship and you are living abroad and just come to Germany once in 6 month to maintain PR.?

The thing is you can only stop health insurance if you do abmeldung from your city so if you do abmeldung then that means you are not in Germany during this time. If you want to maintain your stay in Germany then you have keep the anmeldung and also keep paying the health insurance so then you can come after every 6 months to retian your PR .. but once you get the citizenship.. You can do abmeldung and then go to any country you want for as long as you want .

I only know that it is possible after 8 years but when you apply for citizenship then you can add your child in your application. it doesn't matter if your child is not german now.

While applying for german nationality. During the interview does the visa officer asks questions in german. I have already done B1 but passing exam is a different thing than speaking german. I can't speak good german that's why i am afraid that visa officer might create some issue even though i have B1 certificate.

Have any one come across a process that, Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificates are verified on the ground in my home country ? In my case, i need to pay 600 Euro to get our Mariage and Birth Certificates are verified on the ground

yes I heard such cases but if you tell them that German authorities in your country already verifies them. In this case, you can email the authority who verified your documents and cc the ones who is asking for reverification. Sometimes, the new authority get the report form the older authority and then you don't need to pay anything

If you have a dependent Visa then yes you need to live with your husband. If you somehow converts your dependent visa to study or work visa then you don't need your husband

@@Life-no4nc Buddy, you have lived in Germany for so long that you are going for citizenship. I think you should know by now that how they work in these offices. They will take your documents and then start the process and you will get a receipt of Einburgerung fee and I don't think they will give you anything else.

Thank you for the video. I came to Germany in April 2018 on a blue card and now I have PR (Passed B1) which means approximately 4 years stay. My wife came to Germany in April 2019 and has a valid residence permit i.e. approximately 3 years stay. Question: Is my wife eligible for German nationality? If yes then can I apply with her application, as I have lived in Germany as her spouse for 3 years? I am a bit confused. Please solve my confusion. Best Regards

But if a student stays on student visa for 8 years then he can't apply if he is still on student status. He must be on job visa and have a full time job and passed the probezeit.

@@mbilal429 Do you know any Muslim country that gives permanent VIsa? You can't even start a business without a Kafeel in the middle east. The best thing is to take a passport from western countries and then work in Muslim countries because they give you the recognition you deserve. You know one guy with a Pakistani passport and one with a German passport doing the same job in the middle east. Pakistani guy only earning 5000AED and German guy earning 20000 AED. So that's why It makes sense to first get citizenship from the west and then work in the middle east. To answer your question about nationality. I have POC which gives me all the rights which a normal Pakistani has.
