Although Germany has opened the doors for immigrants but the ground reality is way too different. We got housing crisis, inflation, lesser jobs, way too high taxes, a broken pension system and what not. Try looking for an apartment or getting an appointment at the doctors. Instead try getting a job first. There are far too less jobs now and the ones that are there requires almost native level proficiency Yes it is far easier to get into Germany and get a PR but it is definitely not easy to sustain a living here. And if you are business oriented or want to do something with startups then I can only pray for you because the German bureaucracy is waiting to make your life a living hell

Completely agree, These infleuncers just tell one side of the story. Bharat himself has not seen the life as a parent and what the additional expenses can be versus the salary received here. In fact salary after masters are pretty less here in contract to other countries. These infleuncers are mostly working like salesman pitching for Germany. When people are very good in their subject, they cannot dedicate time learning a language. These happen to those who cannot fare well in their subject of study and then take language profiency to grow in professional life.

I don't know why people are whining about bad trains, or housing crisis, or even the job market scenario. Have you seen the situation in India? The city infrastructure is awful, air quality is messed up, and job market is bad as well. Oh yes, also the housing crisis exist here too, go to cities like Bangalore or Mumbai and see the rents skyrocketing. People have forgotten to appreciate the good that they're getting.

This is not the scenario everywhere in India. If you think that your area is that bad and you are desperate to leave, then I'd still recommend relocating to an English-speaking country or elsewhere rather than to the recession-stricken house of falling cards called Germany. Without SASTA (low-cost) Russian gas Germany's economy is doomed. On top of that, it has transformed into a hotspot for refugees, after absorbing a large number of refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, and more recently, Ukraine. A huge share of the citizens' tax money is being spent on providing accommodation for the refugees and assisting in their assimilation into the society, causing further strain on resources such as housing, healthcare etc., which is starting to irritate the locals. Its a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

I suggest everyone to utilize their own critical thinking skills to assess the situation, rather than depending solely on guidance from course selling KZfaqrs. These youtubers aka consultants have a vested financial interest in convincing people to move to one specific country only, without offering a thorough overview of the prevailing situations in that country,
@DuckterTruckter
@DuckterTruckter 24 күн бұрын
@@Yohans191 Spot on! The situation appears bleak with little hope for improvement. The conflict initiated by Putin and Germany's hasty imposition of sanctions on Russia have plunged Germany into a precarious state, causing energy crisis and inflation. Also the refugee crisis is poised to worsen as increasing numbers of people from war-torn regions seek asylum, a trend likely to persist as instability in the middle East is further escalating. Plus German manufacturers especially car brands have long relied heavily on the Chinese market and economy. China's rapid advancements in manufacturing, particularly in the automotive sector, now pose a formidable challenge to established players such as Tesla and German automakers. These companies are facing fierce competition from Chinese brands in China, unable to match their aggressive pricing strategies. Furthermore, China's intent to launch electric vehicles into the European market could also deal a heavy blow to German auto companies. They would find it difficult to sell their cars in Europe itself if China floods the market with its low cost cars .

the reality is totally different. do not fall for these course selling youtubers. there is hardly any good jobs in IT with good salary. most of the IT jobs requires native level german. I have seen nowadays students are struggling to manage even odd jobs, because of a large number of students are coming each semester. B1 or B2 level does not help that much to a get a job nowadays. I have been here for last 8 years. Trust me, life here is not as simple as it used to be, and definitely not as good as this course selling influencer is saying.

B2 is a minimum to communicate its a course you can make in 2-3 months with 2-3 classes a week, but after that you have to keep learning or using the language to get better at it and be actually able to engage in conversations that are meaningful or watch movies etc It is also not that hard, it might look scary if you never learned a language but its nothing special.

The job opportunities are considerably lesser than in the past, indeed, finding a job even for IT is not as easy used to be in the past. It happened for two reasons, first, a lot of layoffs recently happened even in the big companies, and second because of mass IT specialist immigration. Finding a job is so competitive and salaries are dropping instead of rising. the German government is destroying the market.

The original commenter is absolutely right. Trying going into German subreddits you will know the reality. Every single job now requires almost C1 proficiency because there are far too many candidates and lesser jobs. Good luck competing with natives with your B1 certificate This is not to discourage anyone or reduce competition instead highlighting the ground reality. The salary cap on Blue card has been reduced to 40k or something which most people see as good change, however its only opposite. Now employers can get away paying way less while rents and inflation are sky rocketing

I had Italian in school and then forgot it once I got out but I needed it for a job so I took 2 month course 2-3 classes per week, and got B1 or B2 level (some people with me in the class never had Italian lessons and had the same result and not all were smart either). If you put a little effort in addition to course like watching movies and listening to music in German you become even better. Important part is not to stop at that level but continue to watch the movies and take another course to get to the C1 or C2, it would take the same amount of time as getting to B1 or B2. I't might be a little harder if you are non Indo-European speaker but its nothing impossible, compare it to Japanese you have to learn 3 scriptures and one has over 2 000 signs to be a beginner, in total over 50 000 ...

Language is single biggest barrier. They expect everyone to be at at least B1-B2 or preferably C1 even before landing in Germany, which is difficult. They could invite those who know basics and have intent to learn German, and give them a course to work on it. It is a lot easier to learn the language if everyone around you speaks the language you need to learn. But no... They won't. They will however help you, if you reach there via boat and claim that I am not safe in the country of my origin. They will help you with everything free of cost... Support to learn German, Financial support while you are searching for work, Temporary housing, Activities to integrate in German society... And many more things. Choice is yours, you want to take a boat to Germany or try to Learn German at home and waste your time. Because if you know nothing in German, they will expect you to know the basics.. if you know the basics... They will expect you to be able to hold the conversations.

I live in Germany, they have an apprenticeship system, it means basically you need a trade if you don't have university diploma. If you just finish a highschool it means nothing you can only work at bad paid jobs mostly. If you are looking for something specific look at the medical field like nurses, paramedic (Germany has aging population and will need them even more in the future), if that is not your thing you can become a car mechanic or anything that has to do with electronics there is a job called Mechatroniker, electrician, PC repairman, baker, cook, also jobs that in other countries don't need qualifications like construction worker or cashier also need apprenticeship even shepherd needs it. You could also make a truck driving license and drive for a while, carpenter, apothecary, plumber, welder, crane operator etc having a trade is the most important thing and the more you have the better. Find something you like doing and make sure you have a diploma and its recognized before you come it will make your life easier.

Its true that life quality has declined in Germany because they made a country for their population but then suddenly let in millions (housing problem and appointment problems), inflation increased prices too much, lockdown and war closed a lot of factories and businesses and they have outdated apprenticeship system. But its still better than countries people are coming from, they all have the same issues even if the reasons for them might be different. That is why immigration won't stop and Germans are fast becoming minority. And how it will look down the road of 20-30 years no one can tell you, we will just have to wait and see.

But current market conditions and wide spread layoffs in Germany paints dark picture. At Least in the Automotive industry I can see most well known companies firing their employees in high cost countries like Germany and expanding their staffing in cost effective countries like India, China etc. so they can show positive margins to investors. They can't be blamed either. Cost effective Chinese cars are giving tough competition to global auto makers forcing each to open manufacturing sites in China & other low cost countries, all to appease the market investors.

In Germany if you have a trade you get paid handsomely, I don't have a trade because my country doesn't have the same system and even though my school is far better than my uncles, who is electrician, he earns double of my salary. And all trades are paid better than if you don't have one.

What line of work are you in ? Language shouldn't be a problem you can always do a course 2-3 months to get to B1 or B2 level then follow up with another to get to the C1 or C2 level.

You should be honest in your narratives and don't make Germany look like an easy destination, it's becoming a living hell for foreigners, even Germans are leaving the country and settling down somewhere else.

@@Juststayhopeful in Germany you are paid good if you have an apprenticeship for example if you are a electrician, nurse, paramedic, pc repairman, carpenter, sailor or what ever, you can work and get paid a lot and study or save up money for couple of years and then study. There are people that work part time at good paid jobs ...

👪 New laws allow immigrants to bring parents to Germany, provided they can support them financially????? If this is true, it is great news for entrepreneurs who are comfortable there but lonely.
