@@MiloMay I personally recommend also putting sentences with relevant words as flashcards together with attached audio, for more active recall. Imo output and repetition is super important too.

Hi Manu hab dich heute zum ersten mal gesehen, schaute bisher nur einen Polyglot aus Japan. Sehr sympatisch wie du mit den Leuten kommunizierst. Bewundere immer wieder die Talente der Menschen und gerade verschiedene Sprachen zu lernen finde ich sehr schwer. Mein Rezept ist eigentlich nicht zu kompliziert: - ich überleg mir was ich sagen will oder was andere Leute antworten würden - mit Hilfe von ChatGPT, LanguageReactor (Chrome Plugin für KZfaq/Netflix) und GoogleTranslate hol ich mir die Übersetzungen - für jeden Satz erstell ich in Anki oder Brainscape eine Flashcard (Karteikarte) - mit Hilfe von TextToSpeech (i.e. www.naturalreaders.com) und Audacity (open source audio Software) erstell ich ein mp3 vom Satz und füge das zur Flashcard hinzu - lernen, lernen, lernen In diesem Video red ich etwas ausgiebiger über meinen Workflow: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h9CDdrV01ZyzkXk.html Hoffe es hilft! hahaha that is because I lived in way too many English speaking countries, including the UK, New Zealand and Autralia and Canada, after a while my brain crashed it's true though, Germans learn British English in school, hence your experience I assume :)

It's easy to tell that you're German the moment you started speaking English. Your typical German accent is still there. Ich bin Koreaner, aber als Kind in DE aufgewachsen. Nach Abschluss der Uni in Seoul bin ich hier nach China umgezogen. Das ist schon 26 Jahre her. 我从来没有见过德国人在网上展现自己的多国语言功夫，你是第一个。本身的天赋之外还可以看出你平时的努力也不少。 한국어는 배운 적이 없나요? 한국어 잘하는 독일 친구들이 요즘 무척 많아요. 일부는 방송에 나와 유명해진 사람도 있습니다.

Ich lerne tatsächlich momentan ein paar Sachen hier und da in koreanisch, ist ne echt coole Sprache die ich in der Zukunft gerne mehr vertiefen würde, zumal koreanische Filme und Serien unglaublich gut sind! Achja, ich hab in der Vergangenheit viel Wert darauf gelegt meinen deutschen Akzent zu verstecken, das kann ich auch ohne Probleme, aber ich machs nicht weil ich beschlossen habe ihn zu ehren :) Viele Grüße!

that's a Sony ZV-E10, it's great, apart from the cropped sensor. Works well though with a 15mm lens!

10:00 You're right about your British accent because not everyone who comes from London even if they did sound remotely like you speaks like that. People will definitely think you're taking the mick (making* fun of the accent. *Thats just me being polite). And just to add your accent sounded more like an Australian.

Ja, total sicher, im Gegensatz zu der USA darf man keine Waffen in der Öffentlichkeit tragen. Klar gibt es Verbrechen und vor allem viele Drogensüchtige und Obdachlose, aber normalerweise muss ich keine Angst haben auf die Strasse zu gehen. Komm uns besuchen, es wird dir bestimmt gefallen :)

@@Speechbound pretty much every German learns Brazilian Portuguese when learning Portuguese mostly because they think it "sounds nicer" and Portuguese can immediately tell you're German just by the accent no matter how hard you try to hide it because for some reason the Brazilian dialect makes the German accent pop up like a Christmas tree 🎄

Lustiges Video, aber wo ist der Polyglot Part? Du sprichst doch das ganze Video nur Englisch? "Hallo" auf einer anderen Sprache macht einen jetzt nicht unbedingt zum Polyglot.
