They're both Polyglots, and so am I, you just need to learn a couple languages and you're a polyglot, whether you're good at them, or not doesn't matter because getting good means you have to practice a lot, and sure some people can practice 4-5 hours a day and others can't do that because of other issues. Sure Manu has to rummage for the words but he's not nearly as bad as he seems, at first sight, he's just busy with his work and studying new languages all the time, because he needs to, he can't really afford to develop near native level fluency in all of the languages.

I mean there's a few people I'd find it hilarious if he met, and Kazuma would be one of them. And I'd say it would be interesting if Sonny met Kazuma as well or Wesley. Seeing as how many languages Kazu speaks, to a reasonable degree. And Sonny is amazing when it comes to the Romance languages. His intonation when he says Obrigado is just perfect. He doesn't speak as fast as native speakers but he really hits the notes. I just love all of these Polyglot channels and they truly brightens my day, and it truly brings a lot of people together. Oh and Ryan Hale would also be a nice addition to add into the mix. The French, Indonesian, Chinese speaking dude from Albany New York who is currently learning Tagalog. And all of these videos really makes me wish I had the energy to commit to learning languages.

That’s awesome to hear, unfortunately when I don’t speak my languages, I start forgetting them really quickly so it’s a constant grind. For video chats I would recommend Monkey.app or Chatroulette actually, for text messages with language people I’m using Tandem, it’s great! 😊

Hi, thanks for the comment! We’re going to run a kickstarter campaign at the end of the year, that is going to determine what languages we can support. Japanese can potentially be a stretch goal, but I can’t make any promises on that, currently it’s not on the list of the first 8 languages we’re planning to implement. But it would come right after that!
